My wife and I had a great time staying at Mar Hotel Playa del Mar! We booked one of the suites, which had two rooms and two bathrooms — loads of space and really comfortable. The place was spotless thanks to Miriam from housekeeping, who kept everything super clean every day.
The food is buffet style, so it’s not gourmet, but there was always plenty of choice and we never struggled to find something tasty. The all-inclusive deal was definitely worth it — the house wines were nice, and they served proper branded spirits, which was a pleasant surprise.
All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team were great fun and always stopped for a chat to make sure everything was going well.
The location’s spot on too — only about a five-minute walk to the beach, and there’s a bus stop just 100m away with direct buses to Alcudia, Palma, and even the airport.
All in all, we had a lovely stay in a nice hotel and would happily come back again!

We stayed here for 10 nights all inclusive in a junior swim-up room and honestly loved every minute. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the whole hotel smelt amazing. The Balinese beds were such a nice touch and included in our package too – perfect for relaxing by the pool.

The food was brilliant with so much choice, and we never had any issues finding something to eat or drink. They even did themed nights like Mexican, Indian, Chinese and Mallorcan which kept things interesting. The drinks were great too with loads of options, and the cocktails were nice and strong – not watered down at all!

All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was spot on – right in the centre with plenty of local shops and restaurants around, plus the beach was only about a 5-minute walk away.

Only small downside (which isn’t the hotel’s fault) was the mosquitos in the evening – I got about 10 bites in 10 minutes, so definitely pack some insect repellent!

Overall, we had an amazing stay and would 100% come back again. Highly recommend!

Just had a 7 night stay with a party of 10 inc 4 children.
The hotel is brilliant. Rooms were very spacious, modern and cleaned extremely well each day.
The food was really nice. A nice touch were the themed nights that consisted of Asian, Mexican and Indian. Each day there were a variety of different foods on offer which stopped it from being boring like previous holidays we have been on.

Now for the best bit about this hotel....The animation team!!
We had 4 children in our party and everyday there was something interesting and entertaining for them to do. Wally, Sara and Nerea are an absolute credit to that hotel. Whatever they are being paid they need to be paid so much more for their efforts! They made us all feel welcome. They made the kids feel special, they got the adults included and they just made the holiday 100 times better than it was. We will miss those 3 individuals so much. They made that much of an impact on our stay that we are contemplating returning to the hotel in June.
A very emotional farewell to them on our last night as they really connected with the whole family!

We would like to thank you for a wonderful family vacation at Mar Hotels Playa de Muro Suites. We spent an unforgettable vacation here from August 20 to September 3. We can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to relax! The hotel will appeal to guests of all ages, with a separate mini water park for children and quieter areas for older guests.

The room was clean and well-equipped. The daily cleaning of the apartment and attention to detail made a good impression. The floor was clean, towels were changed every day and cosmetics were replenished.

The food deserves a special mention – varied, fresh, and very tasty. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were well organized, with a large selection of dishes. Everyone finds something for himself.

The pool was clean, well-maintained, deep, and had enough decks for guests. The biggest advantage was the private pool. The daily sweeping of the terrace and wiping of the balinese beds also deserves praise.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always smiling – you could really feel that they cared about the comfort of their guests.

Excellent hotel and facilities. Kids pool is a 1min walk from reception door, beach is 5 mins stroll at most. A great spot for a family with kids under 10. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was pretty good. Fish, pizza, salads, breakfasts were all excellent, meat and pasta were good. Area is quiet and near nice restaurants if you get bored of the hotel food.
