We would like to express our deepest gratitude to you both and to your wonderful team for making our stay at Lyttos Mare an unforgettable experience.

My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon, and from the very first moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for. Giorgos, matre your kindness, professionalism, and attention to every little detail made us feel truly special. You went above and beyond to ensure that every meal and every visit to the restaurant was perfect, and we will always remember your warm hospitality.

Chef Giorgos, your culinary creations were absolutely exceptional. Every dish was prepared with such passion and artistry, offering exquisite flavors and beautiful presentation. Each meal felt like a unique experience, and you truly made our honeymoon dinners magical and memorable.

Thanks to both of you and your amazing team, our honeymoon was far beyond what we ever imagined. The outstanding service, warm smiles, and genuine care we received touched our hearts deeply.

Please also extend our appreciation to everyone in the restaurant team for their hard work and kindness. We are leaving Lyttos Mare with wonderful memories that we will treasure forever, and we truly look forward to coming back again in the future.

Superior Hotel, clean and nice.
Our rooms comfortable with a nice view to the Pools. Food & Beverages tasteful and always enough. We don‘t had missed anything!

I highly rate this hotel, our experience reflected the star rating and we found our room to be clean, spacious and well equipped for our needs.
Food at the LM was varied and tasty, there was always a good choice at mealtimes with super attentive staff. The theme nights were well worth doing, we particularly enjoyed the Argentine and Oriental but the Greek restaurant was our favourite with traditional local food and culture.
The bar staff were great, from the pool bar to ‘Mr G’ with his amazing cocktails on the reception level they were a credit to the hotel.
I used the spa facilities and booked a massage (back and shoulders) which I thoroughly recommend. The spa is great and offers a wide choice of treatments which was a refreshing change to the hotels we’ve stayed in previously.
The location is great albeit if you want to go to Heraklion don’t get a taxi, travel by bus (bus stop is a 3 min walk from the hotel and the bus costs €5 as opposed to a €50 cab fare). Please consider a private transfer from the airport as ours wasn’t that expensive and was seem-less).
We found the staff to be super friendly and helpful, they worked hard to make our stay the best they could make it and are to be commended on their high level of customer service.
All in all we had a great 10 days at LM and as such have booked to return June 2026.

The hotel was absolutely amazing! The property is beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained, with attention to every little detail from the elegant lobby to the spacious and comfortable rooms. The atmosphere is both luxurious and welcoming, making it easy to feel relaxed from the very first moment.

The service was outstanding the staff are always smiling, friendly, and attentive, providing a true sense of personal care. Every request was handled quickly and with great professionalism. We truly felt that the team cared about making our stay perfect, and as tourists, we were treated with genuine warmth and hospitality.

The food at the restaurants was delicious, fresh, and varied, with plenty of choices to suit everyone’s taste. The leisure facilities, including the pool and spa, were also top quality and added so much to our experience.

Overall, it was an exceptional stay that exceeded all our expectations. This is without a doubt one of the best hotels we’ve ever been to, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable holiday with excellent service.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days and overall, the experience was mixed. The location is truly beautiful and well maintained. The sea water and the beach were both very clean, which made the stay more enjoyable. The hotel itself is nicely arranged, with modern furniture and a pleasant atmosphere.

Housekeeping was excellent – the room was cleaned daily, and the staff responsible for this were always polite and respectful. The porter who helped us with our luggage upon arrival was also very kind. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the reception staff, who were rather cold and unfriendly.

We checked in around 2 a.m., and while it was understandable that the restaurants were closed, the sandwiches provided in the room were quite disappointing – mostly mayonnaise and cabbage, with just two thin slices of cheese and salami.

When I asked about the possibility of a late check-out, I was told that a letter with details would be left in the room, but this never happened. Another point worth mentioning is the inconsistency of the service: when we arrived, we were helped with the luggage not only to the room but even when unloading it from the bus, which was very much appreciated. However, when it was time to leave, the staff seemed indifferent – my husband had to carry all the luggage by himself to the reception. Only once we reached the reception did someone offer to store the bags in the luggage room until our final departure.

The food in the restaurant was good, but very repetitive. For the price paid, I expected more variety and creativity. Some dishes seemed to be made from leftovers from previous meals. They also advertised lactose-free products, but every time I tried to get them, the shelves were empty and not restocked.

On a positive note, the evening activities were interesting and added a nice touch to the overall experience.

In conclusion, this is a beautiful and well-kept hotel, but there are several areas that need improvement, especially regarding reception service and food variety.
