The whole holiday experience so far has been wonderful, we are slightly out of season but still lots of entertainment, the pools are clean and plentiful.  The food is great and lots of selection.  We are here with two 14 year olds girls and they are having a great time.  Would def recommend.  Only down side is the resort is a little tired and could be a little cleaner with Sunbed and patio furniture, but that is a small issue and hasn’t affect our holiday!

We have visited this hotel for the 3rd time now, enjoying all the opportunities to enjoy ourselves and relax. There are many activities to do during the day such as water polo, darts and table tennis, which I joined in with. The hotel itself is very large and is located on the beach which is not far to walk to. In the evenings, they always have a couple of amazing performances or live music, and a kids disco. I am very satisfied and happy with all that this hotel offers.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have experienced during my stay. For three nights now, I have been dealing with a simple but very disruptive technical issue in my room: the wardrobe light cannot be switched off and shines into half of the room at night, making it almost impossible to sleep.

I reported this issue three times, each time with the hope it would be resolved, but unfortunately it has not been addressed. On the first day, the receptionist noted my complaint and called a technician. The next day, after finding the light still on, I was told the technician would “cut the wire” to solve it — but again, nothing was done. That evening, when I raised the issue once more, another receptionist spoke to me in an unacceptable manner and redirected me to the customer relations desk. The lady at customer relations assured me the problem would be solved immediately (at 6:30pm). Yet, by 8:30pm, I was still in my room with the light on and no resolution.

What is most disappointing is not only the lack of action but also the lack of basic courtesy. Throughout this entire process, not once did I hear a simple “sorry.” The communication was poor, the handling of the situation careless, and the condition of the room itself shows neglect, with several things needing repair.

At this point, I feel completely ignored as a guest. This is not the level of service one should expect from a hotel, and the experience has left me deeply frustrated. I am sharing this review because I no longer know what else I can do to be heard. I am not commenting on other aspects of this hotel, as I do not feel objective enough after such a frustrating experience.

Here is the follow up to my previous review as I also want to share a positive note about my stay. After receiving my review Mustafa and his customer relations team took immediate action. I was offered a new room — a very spacious and comfortable suite — which made both me and my family very happy.

A particularly nice touch was that the new room’s location was more convenient for my parents, so they didn’t have to walk far to access the hotel amenities. Mustafa and his team followed up multiple times throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the hotel.

One more time — thank you, Mustafa, Irem, and the rest of the team! Your efforts made a real difference, and we truly appreciated it.

This is my 3rd time I have come to Lykia resort. I find this place very easy to navigate and understand everyone.
The golf course is in a very good condition and well layed out.
The staff are amazing. They attend to your every need and are very friendly.
I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

It is very good and there is great pools and me my brother and my mum have loved the waterslides and the food is great. Plenty of bars dotted about and the hotel has its own private beach. Workers very friendly and it has been a great holiday

THIEVES ON THE COURSE AND WELCOMED IN TO CLUBHOUSE AFTER.

Please read until the end if you’re considering playing Lykia Links during your holiday.

I rarely leave reviews, positive or negative but this was without doubt the worst experience I’ve ever had on a golf course. Categorically, do not waste your time or money coming here. The experience was so bad, it leaves me with no choice but to share it with others so they do not make the same mistake.

We go away as a group of four at least twice a year and have played in Turkey many times.

I saw the pictures of Lykia Links and like most, felt it looked stunning. The saying everything that glitters is not gold rings true here.

We always stay in Belek, so you firstly need to get a transfer of around 40/45 minutes each way.

After a journey through rural farm land and a handful of small villages, we arrived.

Upon arrival, we found the clubhouse, pro shop and facilities to be very dated. When buying range tokens, buggies etc they tried to push cash payment and looked at you with disgust if you only had card.

Over to the putting green, which was yet another warning sign of things to come. My home club is a humble, middle of the road club. Our greens are far from Augusta but the greens at Lykia Links don’t even compare to most fairways I’ve played on.

The buggies in line with the facilities, are very dated.

Every green we played had many imperfections, felt extremely spongey and looked as it hadn’t been cut or rolled for a long time. Fair to say, they fall significantly short of the standard you’d expect for a £30 green fee, never mind a £125 one.

Everybody out on the course and in the bar after felt the same.

The beauty of the course can’t be denied with its  picturesque setting but I’m struggling to think of a course I have played in worse condition.

By the time we got to the 12th, two of our four decided to call it a day and head back to the club house.

Me and the other decided to persevere and by the time we arrived at the 17th tee box, we were joined by two complete strangers. What I’m about to tell, is by far the most bizarre and concerning series of events I’ve ever been a part of on a golf course.

As I said at the start, the course is located in a very remote area, a handful of small villages around and mostly surrounded by farmland. I’m not sure who these people were, we originally felt they were just spectators out on a walk. We both hit two good tee shots on 17 but one of them was carelessly talking during my back swing.

They then appeared in the fairway of 18 as we hit our tee shots. The two shots separated by a big mound in the fairway. our suspicions started to rise as they stood around 10 yards away from our next shot. We decided to play my ball first, which meant we couldn’t see the second ball. I hit the green and we went round to the other ball, which had vanished, with the two strangers now heading up towards to green. We asked them if they had taken our ball, and after a few times of asking one of them chucked it back. They then continued to walk on to the green, where the other then kicked my ball. I then started to shout and walked up to them. As it’s infront of the 18th hole, this was all seen by staff and customers in the club house. The strangers then went to sit in the clubhouse and after we had finished, I decided to confront them and the staff. Much to my surprise, the staff took a very relaxed approach and said they were locals. The fact they were accepting of that behaviour for me was the biggest concern and alongside the condition of the golf course is the reason I’m writing this review. We felt the locals were most likely there to steal belongings but thanks to our due diligent approach, their opportunity never arose.

This is not in line with the local standard and is in no way a reflection of Belek, the other courses and people. I couldn’t recommend the courses and hotels in Belek enough but please don’t ever stay or play at Lykia Links.
