had a wonderful stay at Lara Hotel. The location is truly unbeatable – you won’t find a better spot. The view was absolutely stunning, and the traditional Turkish breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The hotel also has a very beautiful private beach located in a lagoon. You need to walk down the stairs to reach it, which can be a bit of a workout, but it is absolutely worth it once you are there. Highly recommended!

Second visit to this hotel, it's good for me. The restaurant is extremely expensive.
Breakfast is ample.
No were local to get a coffee. Friendly cats, I bring them treats . Fridge didn't work when we arrived, took woman in reception three full days to get it exchanged, chocolate was spoilt. (Not according to woman in reception, she needs a full refund from the charm school)

What you expect for 3 star i guess .nothing to write home about so to speak very drab. Nothing on the outside with out getting a taxi or a good walk which isn't always feezable. Would I come here again .No. Got charged 100  sterling for a 54£  meal .and charged £65 upon leaving for mini bar . Concedering I only drank water  .and a couple pkts of crisps and biscuits.  .Staff not very friendly . Would not stay here again more about money than hospitality . Wouldn't recommend this place  for whst its worth. Came for dental  treatment expecting a cheap week but that doesn't happen cos they rob you . We actually was ment to be there for 7 days but left after 5.Nothing nice to say about the lara.Rubbish and bilbll staff member  threatens every one with police untill you pay up for mini bar for stuff you not had

I am utterly appalled and disgusted with my recent stay. The cleanliness was absolutely nonexistent; the place was 'ever so dirty.' The conditions were so poor, it was obvious to everyone. This was an extremely unsatisfactory experience, and I will be leaving the worst possible review to detail this unacceptable lack of hygiene."

At the hotel’s beach, they completely scam you for money. They claim the prices are the same as at the hotel bar, but in reality, that’s a big lie — it’s much more expensive on the beach. You are not allowed to bring your own water even when it’s extremely hot, and you are forced to buy theirs at ridiculous prices. For example, we paid €100 on the beach for just 4 cocktails and 4 vodka shots — cocktails had no taste of alcohol at all, and the shots were tiny (they even said they poured doubles, but they clearly didn’t, and we didn’t even ask for doubles). There is no menu with prices on the beach, so they just make up prices as they go. The beach itself was dirty, with trash nearby.

The restaurant food was terrible and overpriced. Even as hotel guests, we were not allowed to sit in the main restaurant area in the evening — instead, we were placed in a separate section with no air conditioning or shade. Breakfast was awful, the same every day — hard bread, only eggs, and some low-quality sausages that were disgusting to eat. At least they had watermelon daily. Coffee was terrible, juice tasted like colored water or had a horrible taste.

In the room, drinks in the minibar were expired. Everything was very old, the condition of the furniture was bad, and there was mold on the ceiling. The cleaning service was awful, with ants inside the room. As shown in my photos, the floor was damaged, the shower was dirty, and there were leaks of water on the bathroom floor. Staff mostly spoke Russian (we are not Russian) and barely understood English. You’re not allowed to bring any food or drinks from outside — even ice cream or water.

Overall, the hotel charges much more money than it’s worth. Everything is overpriced for the poor quality you get.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very helpful and kind, particular thanks to Alp for whom nothing was too much trouble and who really helped me when I arrived late in the evening after a long flight. I ate the restaurant food every day which was delicious and I enjoyed the breakfast selection, too. My room was a bit tatty but they are undertaking major renovations, it is off-season so to be expected. The views were stunning and the location near Duden Park is very pleasant. The hotel is used a lot by people coming for medical procedures so expect lots of breakfast conversation involving teeth! No really suitable for families, I would say, but as a solo flyer I'd come again. It was also excellent value. Thank you for an enjoyable and restful stay 🙏

After reading some reviews before this holiday I was a little concerned as the last time we stayed here was 10 years ago. However my concerns were unfounded. Yes the rooms and stairs area are very dated and badly in need of a refurb but the views and the pool & bar area is beautiful. Staff were pleasant and polite, maids did a good job of cleaning the rooms. Views of aircraft overhead spot on. Shower could be cold in the morning but nice & hot in the evening. Bar food during the day adequate although a little overpriced. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is in a relatively good location — close to the airport but far from the city center. There's only a small supermarket within 100 meters. The area is calm, but planes fly overhead almost every minute, which can be disturbing.

Check-in was smooth and the receptionist was polite. Unfortunately, the experience changed on our first afternoon. We bought a box of water, some chips, biscuits, and nuts from the nearby store for our kids. At the hotel entrance, a receptionist rudely stopped us, questioned us about what was in our bag, and even opened and searched it without permission. He confiscated the snacks and said we had to buy them from the hotel at 120 lira per item.

This was a very disrespectful and uncomfortable situation. Even worse, at check-out, only the biscuits and nuts were returned — the chips were gone, clearly eaten by someone. It wasn’t about the value of the chips, but the lack of respect for guests' belongings and basic hospitality.

Customer service here is weak, and guests are treated more like money than people. I hope the hotel management reconsiders how they treat their customers in the future
