Wonderful staff. All very helpful and able to communicate with me. The all inclusive menu is top. As well as the al la carte choice. The hotel is in a wonderful location with easy access to the beach and local shops. The hotel has a gym and a spa and we went for a full massage and Turkish bath. Lasted more than 2 hours. Beautiful. Our room was air-conditioned with a balcony that had a part sea view and a view of the hotel across the road. It's still a lovely view. Most of the clients/ tourists at the hotel are friendly and have been coming to Laguna for many years. We have made friends with them. Maybe we'll be back next year.

This was my third time here and I have to say it's was the worse one out of all of them. Staff are great but the entertainment team was the worse. No smiles, no interest to talk to anyone. Didn't make an effort to get people involved.  Previous years teams have been great but this year very bad. Must say I'm very disappointed with this hotel now. Hopefully next year team will learn from the mistakes of this unprofessional team. Everything else has been great except this.

Laguna Beach Alya Resort & SPA – All Inclusive
A Disappointing Stay That Didn’t Match the Promise

We stayed at Laguna Beach Alya Resort & SPA (from 10th Sept 2025 - 14th Sept 2025), hoping for a relaxing all-inclusive experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas.

🛏️ Room & Comfort

• The room was very small, with limited space to move around.
• No proper sheet on the bed—just a towel-like cover, which felt uncomfortable.
• Air conditioning was weak and only became effective after hours of running.
• We reported a broken room phone on arrival. Reception said it would be fixed the next morning, but it remained unusable throughout our stay, forcing us to go down in person for any requests.
• No iron provided—you must pay for ironing service.
• Even the room safe incurs an extra charge, which is disappointing for an “all-inclusive” hotel.

🏖️ Facilities & Service

• There was a bad smell outside the bedrooms, which made coming and going unpleasant.
• Pool towels are only available between 9:30am–11am, and require a €10 deposit.
• No poolside drink service—you have to leave your lounger and go to the bar yourself.
• Staff were generally not proactive or welcoming, and there was little warmth or hospitality.
• Fresh orange juice costs extra, despite being part of the advertised all-inclusive package. The food was basic.
• Limited entertainment after dinner, leaving evenings feeling dull. The bar closes at 24:00, after this time there are no beverages available.
• On departure, there was no thank you or farewell, just a transactional goodbye.

💸 Overall Value
There extra charges for basic amenities and lacks the comfort, service, and atmosphere expected from a resort of this type. While the hotel itself was aesthetically pleasing, the experience didn’t reflect it.

I spent eight days at Laguna Beach Alya Resort & Spa Hotel in Okurcalar at the end of August 2025, and it was exactly the relaxing vacation I was hoping for. When booking, I was looking for several specific services, and this hotel met all of them at a very reasonable price. Here’s why my stay was so enjoyable:
1. Perfect Location
The hotel is ideally situated, close to the beach and local shops, with a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea. Getting to the beach is simple, especially by using their convenient free shuttle service.
2. Comfortable and Modern Accommodation
My room was spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable, and the entire hotel was spotless. The pools and beach were well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing day.
3. Friendly and Helpful Staff
The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, making me feel welcome. I also felt very safe during my stay (I travelled alone).
4. Excellent Spa Experience
The hotel’s spa facilities are fantastic. I indulged in a Turkish bath and four massages, all of which were incredible and affordable. Special thanks to Sari, whose massages were truly memorable.
5. Delicious All-Inclusive Dining
The buffets were varied, delicious, and beautifully presented. From the grill by the pool to local and international dishes, there was something new for me to enjoy each day. Desserts, fresh fruits, juices, wine, and water were all included, and snacks and drinks were also available by the pool and beach. They also have a patisserie that serves sweets (cakes, ice cream, waffles) during the day.
6. Minor Issue
The only issue I experienced was that the Wi-Fi was not functioning properly, but it did not significantly impact the enjoyment of my stay.
Overall, Laguna Beach Alya Resort & Spa Hotel met my expectations in every way. The combination of beautiful location, modern facilities, delicious food, excellent spa services, and attentive staff made my vacation truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

The hotel looks beautiful from the outside – clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing. The food is decent and what you’d expect from a typical all-inclusive hotel. A nice bonus: there’s fresh grilling by the pool every day. The waitstaff at both the bar and restaurant are amazing – super friendly, funny, and always in a good mood. Big compliments to them!

However, there are some major downsides:

•	Entertainment is very poor. The animation team seems unmotivated, the daily program repeats itself with no variety, and the animators speak almost only Russian – barely any English and no Turkish. They don’t interact much with guests and often appear disinterested.

•	Evening shows are mostly in Russian, with little or no English translation. Most announcements and music are also in Russian, which clearly shows that the entertainment is heavily geared toward Russian-speaking guests.

•	Music: During the day it’s repetitive, and in the evening it’s only louder from 23:00 to 23:30. After that, the music stops completely – too short for any real evening atmosphere.

•	Bar: Alcohol is only available until 24:00.

The hotel is visually impressive, and the service staff is excellent. But the entertainment is a real disappointment – uninspired, repetitive, and clearly focused on Russian guests. If you don’t speak Russian, you’ll likely feel left out.
Recommended only for those who care more about looks and service than entertainment.

We had a rest with the family from August 11 to 18 in this hotel. I would like to express special gratitude to the staff, waiters, bartenders, cleaners and cooks who work a lot, hard and efficiently doing their job. The hotel is in perfect cleanliness, but the cleaning of the rooms is not very good. There is a lot of food in the White restaurant, but not everyone may like very salty and spicy dishes, but my wife, son and I were able to find something for ourselves. The Black restaurant seemed tastier to us. The pools are cool, clean, with excellent water, however, in the morning all the sun loungers are occupied, although a request not to book sun loungers is posted everywhere in a prominent place, this is already on the conscience of the vacationers themselves. There are two slides, which unfortunately only work from 10 am to 4 pm. The show programs with the participation of the girls hosts are weak, it is obvious that they are just doing their job, visiting artists performing in the evening shows are great.  The children's room, which is called the mini club, is located under the hotel, it is stuffy, damp and there is nothing for the child to do. Children's programs and animation are very weak, if it were not for the pools, you can get bored with children here. The children's disco is also very weak. I would like more animation for children and morning exercises. The beach is sandy and pebbly, you can't really walk around barefoot, the sun loungers on the beach already need to be replaced. The bar on the beach is super, the bartenders, waiters and cooks are great, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay on the beach. In the end, we liked our stay at this hotel, and we want to express our gratitude to the entire staff of this hotel!

We stayed here for a week recently and had an overall pleasant time. The location is excellent and only a short (albeit steep) walk away from a gorgeous beach, it is also close to local shops and local attractions were all within a half hour drive away. Staff were all friendly and helpful although sometimes language was a barrier, for example, most staff at the restaurant did not speak english and were unable to inform us of food allergens that were not displayed anywhere. Food at the restaurants was more or less the same every day but had a big variety so still plenty to choose from. Lots of different options for food and drinks included in the all inclusive package which seemed well worth the price. The hotel has nice pools and plenty of sunbeds to relax in as well. Unfortunately though, the room we were given was below our expectations. The bed was so squeaky that even just turning in my sleep made such a racket, and the bathroom was in quite a poor condition; the toilet seat was half detached from the bowl and the shower temperature was fully inconsistent (cold one minute then randomly hot another) with the rainfall shower function broken as well. All together we still had a great time here and very much enjoyed our holiday but probably wouldn’t call it a 5* experience.
