The location and staff was lovely what you expect in turkey, no tv in rooms and kitchen  is very basic for a self catering so you don’t really have the cooking facilities, lovely calm hotel and pool area is lovely our family had a wonderful time here

The pool is an amazing size with plenty of loungers, but not enough parasols. The rooms are spacious and does have a fridge and kettle etc. The room doesn't get cleaned unless you push and remind, we had to wait 5 days for it to be cleaned and that was the only time. We didn't mind much as we don't spend a lot of time in the room. Air con is paid for but definitely essential especially in July!

The location is great, it's right next to the Beach, Blue Port and Migros so perfect for all your local needs.

Mixed Bag of a Stay – Big Pool, Great Location, and a Very “Hands-On” Owner

Let’s start with the positives: the pool is huge—probably one of the biggest in the area—and the location really couldn’t be better. You’re just a short walk from the beach, which was a big win for us.
Now, onto the rest of the experience, which, let’s just say, was... memorable (and not always in the best way).
We arrived at 4am—fairly standard for those on budget holiday packages—and despite booking a family apartment with a private transfer (meaning we actually arrived earlier than most), we were told our room had been “given away” because we were late. Slightly confusing logic there. Instead, we were put in a small twin room that clearly wasn’t designed for a family of four. It was also pretty dusty—pulling out the sofa bed released a dramatic cloud, which was definitely not part of the welcome package.
After some back-and-forth and an hour of negotiations, we ended up split across two separate twin rooms for the night. Both had cleanliness issues—think stray hairs in the bathroom and mystery stains on the sheets. We were told to return to reception at 10am to move into our originally booked room, which was thankfully better… although having one bathroom inside the master bedroom made for some awkward family scheduling.
Now, about the staff. You’ll definitely see the owner around—he goes by “The Captain” and seems to fancy himself as the heart and soul of the hotel. In fairness, he does try to keep things fun and friendly, but there were moments that raised eyebrows. Staff (including The Captain himself) were often found napping or appearing a little too relaxed—sometimes with a drink in hand, sometimes passed out near reception. There were also a few offhand comments made toward younger guests that didn’t sit well with us.
Local gossip about the hotel brewing its own alcohol on-site made us chuckle at first, until we realized it might not be a joke.
The pool, while a great size, could do with some TLC. Filters were visibly clogged, and a few parasols decided to go for a swim when the wind picked up. Not ideal. Perhaps most concerning was seeing a minor both handling pool chemicals and serving behind the bar. That’s not a mix anyone wants to see.
Speaking of the bar—cocktails were a bit of a lottery. Order the same drink twice and you might get two very different creations. Some were surprisingly good! Others… well, let's just say they had character.
Air conditioning was extra (£12 per day for us), but we heard others were charged different rates. In the heat we experienced, AC isn’t optional, so a consistent pricing policy would go a long way.
Lastly, room location matters. Ours faced a busy road, and between the traffic noise and thin windows, sleep was hard to come by. If you're booking, try to request a pool-facing room if you value your sleep.
In summary: The bones of a good hotel are here—a prime location, big pool, and a charismatic owner who really wants to make it work. But it’s clear the place needs stronger management, better cleanliness standards, and a more professional approach to safety and service. Absolute rubbish, cleaners didn’t clean the room for 7 days straight , one of the cleaners just unlocked the door to our room without permission, absolutely no customer service been told they don't serve food cockroaches everywhere, dirty pool area everything about this hotel is a disaster , you have to get your own toilet paper they wont provide you with absolutely nothing , no clean towels shower was discussing as well as the toilets , had to pay £80 for aircon for 6 days. Never again.

Avoid this hotel pay a little more and get one that is at least clean enough for kids eeww

Location is quite good. Near the beach and some good shopping spots but also right above the main road so hard to get a quiet night unless you're pool facing, a couple of minutes walk to the beach with all the bars and restaurants. Also a migros (local supermarket chain) right across from the hotel which was great considering it was self catered.

Staff are okay, except the owner/ first aider/ lifeguard was seen drinking with his friends by the pool several times throughout our stay. We also saw him sleeping on a bench next to the reception constantly and spending a lot of his time exclusively talking to female guests, even jokingly calling himself "her boyfriend" regarding a 12 year old girl in our group. With another group of guests saying similar regarding their 14 year old daughter.

The safe boxes are kept at the reception, not in the rooms and the hotel claims no responsibility for anything lost.

Pool bar doesnt accept card so unless you have cash you have to walk to the reception to pay for your drinks whilst they go warm. Not ideal.

A lot of extra charges. No wifi access in most of the hotel, an extra charge for a portable wifi box or using your own data, they even told us the wifi was awful on arrival. We were charged £12 a day for air con in the room, whilst other guests said they were charged differently, ranging from £9-15.

The pool is the redeeming factor, huge pool with plenty of sunbeds but a lack of parasols and the bases arent weighted properly and they frequently get blown away. Even blowing into the pool- a huge risk for little ones, so keep a good eye out. The pool isnt kept in the best condition, its cloudy when you're underwater only being able to see a few feet ahead, the vents were covered in filth and hair, from what we could gather from other guests, it was a young boy (maybe 16) who cleaned the pool who also worked behind the bar.

Our first night was awful, we booked a family room but were given a twin room with a red sofa bed with one edge being stained white/ grey and when it was dropped flat a huge dust cloud came off it and there was hair in the toilet, clearly hadnt been cleaned. After complaining this wouldnt be suitable for a family of 4 we were put into 2 rooms, the second had a leak in the bathroom, until one became available the next day because we "arrived too late so our room was given away" even though we came straight from our transfer. Even after moving rooms, all 3 we saw had dirty bedding and floors and were never cleaned during our stay.

Hopefully they sort these issues out before the next holiday season, hotel needs some looking after and some money putting back into it and has the potential to be one of the best in the area.

Loved the owner and his daughters speak good English. It could be really 1 of the best hotles about but just needs a few things upgrading. There's no lifts, although the rooms are huge, the bathrooms do sadly let it down. Like I say, if a bit of cash could be spent on upgrades, it would be amazing!
Entertainment for the children would also make this hotle even better.

everything about this hotel is a complete disaster. Most disturbing thing is they do not guarantee the safety of your room. If anything gets stolen from your room they claim no responsibility. They charge extra for the AC. For a summer holiday spot this makes you feel like you get scammed. So prepare to pay extra money. They can charge you anything there is no limit. Room was dirty, beds and pillows makes you feel like you are sleeping on the pavement. Our rooms shower had no shower head just the pipe. Pools joints were dirty and black, we disgusted to use it. They had some kind of music by the pool with broken amplifier which was disturbing. They are trying to cut from everything including toilet paper to earn extra. Just pay a little bit more and get a decent hotel. There are plenty of options in marmaris.
