On booking, the online description stated the room would have a pool view.  On arrival allocated a room in the furthest apartment block, near a busy road and overlooking a semi demolished building. The room was dated, the main door had a large gap, and the bathroom and bedrooms were "not great"  Went to reception to complain and was told there were no other spare rooms as they were all full.  Next morning went to reception and after some discussion and debate was told an alternative room would be available in the main complex on the ground floor but this would be smaller than the current room.  We viewed the alternative room and was pleasantly surprised.  Clean, fresh and ideal for what we needed so we accepted and moved to this room and were then very happy.  Heard a few people at reception over the course of the holiday also complaining about the run down apartment block we had initially been allocated.   Other than that initial issue, it was otherwise of an acceptable standard and we thoroughly enjoyed Rhodes. Picture is a view from the 1st room...

Honestly it's not a 5* resort but they don't advertise it as that. It's better than I was expecting, the bar is great the staff are brill, the rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels, for a self catering apartment it was brilliant. The pool was perfect and we loved it.

I don't know where to being, Id like to offer my personal thoughts, however, I implore you to make your own decision.

Due to an error on my own part with my booking, I had to request the hotel provide me with an apartment with 2 rooms, rather than 2 apartments. They did do this for me, but charged me hotel tax (35 euros) twice.

Aircon - what a joke, there is Aircon in each apartment, but you have to pay 9 euros a day for the luxury, then that luxury is not much of one, when its only in the main room, and has zero impact on cooling down the bedrooms. Id dread to think how bad it would have been in July/August. So bare this in mind, either your happy sleeping naked with the door open and hear all the noise or prepare to suffer the heat.

The beds were not the best and to call it self-catering is a scam, not sure what you could cook with no cooking appliances.

The positives, the staff were nice, the pool and sunbathing areas were good. And the location was good also, Super Market just across the road, not far from the beach and lots of restaurants near by. Also easy to use bus stops right outside the hotel.

there is cockroaches in the bathroom, no one comes to change ur bedsheets or towels, the showers cold, none of the things in the kitchen work and there is no wifi in the room u have to use ur phone in reception. paid an extra 250£ for a studio comfort room but they still gave a standard room. the lift buttons dont work u have to press them so many times, online it says there is a spa included but thats a lie. where the spa is supposed to be its just a room full of old furniture. however, i booked a nail appointment and i cant complain i love how they look. not to mention the staff but, they are so inpolite and they give a tax of 65€ when u check in for nothing. the only good thing about this hotel i would say is where it's located. supermarket 2 mins away, beach 10 mins away with restaurants nearby and some things to see and a taxi to rhodes old town is only 18€ and abt a 15 min distance. i would visit again but i would choose a better hotel.

This is a pure budget hotel. I would say that this is more two stars than three.
the rooms are old and it is incredibly noisy. The AC is above the front door which makes it difficult for the cold to get into the rooms.
Note that the AC costs an extra 9 euros / day (you pay for the whole week)
the mattress is classically hard.
the pools are a disaster when it comes to cleanliness. the pool at the back of the taverna stains on swimwear etc. the paint is leaking and the pools are never cleaned. the pool closest to the reception was in decent condition except for the children's pool which leaks a lot of paint.
the staff was nice and the restaurant was great at the hotel and by that I mean the taverna and not the dining room. the pools need to be fixed and the cleaning was terrible. the floor was not mopped and there were several things and large dust balls under the bed from previous guests. this hotel is not luxury or for the discerning. If you need a bed and a decent AC and swim in a dirty pool, this hotel is just right for those who don't want to pay a lot of money for your accommodation. We paid 500 euros / week in mid-July (2 adults and 2 children).
Foodstore is right outside the hotel on the other side of the road.
There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel into Rhodes town which costs 3 euros or 2.3 euros if you pre-order your bus ticket.
As I said, this is not Sheraton in standard but works for those of you who don't care so much about the standard of cheap accommodation and pool.
Most Swedes and scandinavians at the hotel and some from the UK. The area is great do!!

The rooms are basic, but they are what you pay for, and are kept lovely and clean. Small amount of cooking utensils but no hand soap or washing up liquid so do either bring your own, or buy some at the conveniently located shop less than 2 minutes away from the door.

The staff are lovely, especially the cleaners and the bar staff, and the live music/karaoke in the taverna was a great added touch. The beds weren't the comfiest but not too bad, and the pool facilities were kept clean, pool is clear, and all communal bathrooms are clean too!

Overall, my fiancée and I had a wonderful time here, and although not the most luxurious, we would definitely come here again if on a budget next time we're in town!

(Lots of cats in the area including a new mother and her kittens- all very friendly and appreciate a good drink of water or some 30p cat food from the shop if you can!)

The hotel itself is okay, but the lazy and incompetent staff makes the stay terrible. But let's start off with the positives;
- There are pools, 2 children's pools and 2 a bit larger pools.
- There's an elevator if you live on any floor upstairs.
- It is located well to the beach and stores, close enough to walk to them but still far enough not to be disturbed by the noise of the streets.
- There's a playground in the hotel area.

And that's about it, so the negatives;
- The old lady receptionist is the least service-oriented person I've ever met. She can't keep a number in her head and communicates terribly with the staff. We asked specifically for a baby crib, we didn't get one. We had to contact the travel agency to get one and get the room cleaned properly.
- The cleaning was horrible. Sticky floors in the room, beds were dirty and spotty, mould everywhere in the bathroom, and the freezer was full of ice, so we had to defrost it our first day to fit ice creams in it.
- There were electrical hazards, loose outlets, in the room at a baby's height. Not very family-friendly.
- The shower suddenly turns scorching hot or freezing cold, by itself, not very family friendly.
- The elevator needs service, sometimes the buttons don't work and you're stuck trying to press them.
- The pools are poorly kept, they desperately need cleaning, you can't even see your feet in the pool. All your swimming clothes are turned green after a few days, totally ruined. Perhaps should have requested money for our destroyed clothes.
- There was dog poo in the playground, we told the reception about it and it took 4 days to clean up.
- Our shower got stuck on the hot water, we told reception at 7pm. At 9pm we told reception it is still running. She acted surprised that it wasn't fixed and told us it's gonna be fixed in 10 min. At 11.30pm we could finally put our 2 year old to bed because they fixed it.
- The sewer smell is constant by one of the pool areas, tanning beds, and restaurant area.
- All towels and bedsheets smell of cigarettes, perhaps because staff is always smoking in the corridor next to the laundry room. Not very family friendly.
- All areas allow smoking, indoors. Not very family friendly.
