Hotel Vertigo invites each guest to renew their sense of wonder and imagination by shifting their perspective slightly askew - to get caught in the whirl of hip and playful style, and at-your-whim service. At Hotel Vertigo, "Equilibrium is overrated".
When guests arrive at the hotel - it feels less like checking-in and more like arriving at their own San Francisco pied-a-terre centrally located near eclectic stores, neighborhood coffee shops, and restaurants frequented by a diverse mix of people that make the city so unique. Friendly, engaging and broad-smiled staff sincerely greets each guest as they would an old friend. The Hotel Vertigo staff is an extension of the design - style and fun brought to life.
Originally opened in 1922 the landmark hotel hosts one of San Francisco's most famous night spots: The Empire Plush Room. The hotel is just blocks from the theater district and Union Square and its 96 rooms were completely renovated in 2003.
