Overall I would definitely recommend Hotel du Golf. There are a few things the hotel could improve on but for the price paid it is great value. The most important thing for us was the quality of the food and the comfort of the rooms and for both of these this hotel was great. The buffet for each meal contained a very large selection of good quality food - everything was fresh and there were plenty of different tasty options. The all inclusive included two a la carte restaurants - the Italian restaurant was good and the food at the Mediterranean was ok.

The room we had was very comfortable and clean and the housekeeping service was really excellent. Overall we were also very happy with the friendly service from the staff - everyone from the cleaners to the waiters greeted us with a smile. We wanted a hotel outside the city but they include a free shuttle to the city and back so it's easy to get in and out.

There is a gym and indoor pool on site and also included. The gym was really decent and had loads of machines but the indoor pool needed refurbishment. (We didnt go to the Spa)

A couple of other minor things.. while the hotel is very clean in the hotel lobby/cafe the smell from detergent was at times overpowering. Also our shower curtain didnt cover the back of the shower fully so it made a puddle behind our shower.

Overall though a very good hotel.

Pickalbatros Hôtel Du Golf is a place where luxury is visible…
but the true soul of the hotel is felt through its people.
And if there is one person who made our stay truly special, it is Bahiya — the lady who took care of our room every single day.
We have never experienced such quiet dedication, attention to detail and genuine care. The room was not just clean — it welcomed us. Every day felt like someone had prepared it with respect, warmth and pride.
No words were needed. Just a smile, perfection in every detail, and the feeling that you truly matter as a guest.
The hotel itself is excellent — food, atmosphere and relaxation are top-level.
But people like Bahiya are the reason you want to come back.
This is not just All-Inclusive.
This is hospitality with heart.

Visited dec 12-14 weather chilly but room was nice and warm. Bed was absolutely comfy, tv didn't work, didn't replenish water bottles or tea/coffee each day after room cleaning.
Hotel room looks aesthetically pleasing unfortunately shower not practical as water leakage everywhere, which made it unpleasant experience.
All inclusive package ensured there's endless amount of food and choice to please all.
Cocktails need reassessing as choices are pretty weak and flavourless.
The grounds are beautiful shame you can't walk through or around due to the golfing area.
Spa/gym was gorgeous but so far from main hotel/room. Walking to or from spa in the evening is frightening and doesn't feel safe as its completely pitch black as the surroundings are all closed due to season. Hotel really needs to invest in proper lighting and safer route.
Can only use the pool and jacuzzi as you need to pay to use sauna & steam which is dumb if you have full access to spa facility it should mean access to all not just some.
Overall nice hotel, but unfortunately wouldnt return.

Bottom line - it is not luxury, you pay the prices for a budget all-inclusive which is part of a much larger complex currently undergoing a huge structural overhaul. It sits in a building site and the golf course is a mess in many areas. The pools, gym, spa and facilities you can still access (signage is out of date & reflects what the hotel once was, many parts are shut and covered with debris, street lighting between areas is poor) are crumbling around the edges. Wobbly hand rails, broken lockers, stained cushions, pool lining dirty etc.
We were there at the same time a large pharma conference, so meal times were overwhelmed with attendees that took most tables and made eating challenging and somewhat unpleasant. Vegetarian food is not clearly labelled and there were no vegetarian options on the set menus at either on site restaurant - I was given ad hoc tomato pasta at both. Serving spoons were moved between foods, so those with intolerances might struggle. The restaurant coffee is AWFUL, fortunately better coffee is served in the bar. Mint tea service is much more appealing!
We booked a garden view room for 3 adults and were given a pool view directly over the outdoor bbq where the conference visitors were eating. The room was full of smoke and noise - they were good enough to move us to a quieter room but we shouldn't have needed to ask & it was done with some grumbling. The room was small for three adults, there was no offer of having a larger spot. The bathroom has a wooden slat wall  and sliding doors so everything that goes on in the toilet, is heard in the room. The room tea/coffee was not refreshed at any point in our stay. The soaking bath mat was not replaced.
Plus points - the staff were generally very pleasant and engaging, from ground staff to those running entertainment. The gym is large with a lot of equipment although this is not kept clean. The central heated pool was great when the weather was not (although we & other holiday makers were turfed out 20 mins before it was due to be closed by staff trying to avoid the weather).  We were happy with the limited alcoholic drinks, again, it's a budget hotel. The pastries at the bar were pleasant, the showers good, bedding clean. It was quiet at night, we slept well.There was enough food choice for 4 days if you don't insist on eating a bit of every single thing put out each meal time. We wouldn't write it off for what we paid, but none of us would go back as the general condition currently stands.

Room - initially we were provided with a ground floor golf course view terrace room, we noticed straight away the outside aspect of the locking system was all broken, meaning the door could just be pushed open from the outside leaving us feeling incredibly unsafe, as it was very late at night when we arrived we were told a new room would be arranged in the morning and the hotel was secure. The next morning the new reception team were not handed this over but did agree to move us, we were then provided with a 2nd floor pool view room which was lovely, it was very clean and had all necessary items. I would say it needed a little attention e.g cracked shower tile and mirror but it was clean. The room service lady was so lovely she did a beautiful job every day!
Food and drink - Buffett breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast has a large variety of continental, traditional Moroccan breakfast items, fresh eggs and cereals.
Lunch and dinner had be very similar but there are plenty of options- generally a variety of targin’s outside and then other options on the bbq or indoor stations with plenty of salads, breads and dips. Staff are really helpful and friendly. There are several bars for drinks - cocktails are disappointing and general tasted of strong cheap spirits.
Facilities- 3 outdoor pools, one small and two larger pools, they were a little cold even though it was warm outside, pools were generally clean and staff washed down the outdoor areas daily. A little attention is needed on the indoor hallways carpets which are stained.

We had the most awful experience at the associated spa, the hotel may wish to review their practices and affiliation with the spa.

Food is good, entertainment staff great, clean rooms, hotel immaculate. We were upgraded to hotel and so very happy with this hotel. Food always warm and great choice. Aqua fit great!
No kids which was a huge bonus! Weather beautiful, shuttle to town centre was great dropped and collected for free in executive vehicle. All staff wanting to help and support.

Such a lovely hotel, with amazing staff. I booked this place as a quick getaway for my husbands birthday.

Upon booking, I had a few requests, which I messaged the hotel abput prior to my visit. Thry responded straight away! They told me they will be able to fulfill my requests.

When we got there, we were greeted by Brahim, who made sure the room was decorated how I wanted, as well as a birthday cake delivered to the room. Such an amazing start to my husbands birthday getaway!

We had the exectutive terrace room with the pool and golf view, it was beautiful. The room exceeded our expectation and was so spacioud and lovely. The cleaning staff were super sweet, they wpuld decorate the room every morning after cleaning, and made sure we had no difficulties with the room during our stay.

Booking the A la Carte restaurant was smooth, the hotel even arraanges a car to drop you off to the restaurant as well as a collection, which was a nice touch.

They offer free a shuttle service to and from Jemaa El Fnaa, with plenty of time for you to browse and shop.

Brahim was so loveley on the second day of our stay, he came to see if everything was gping well, and to accomodate us on our day of check out, our flight was delayed, so he gave us a conplimentary late check out, which allowed us that extra time to pack and relax before we left  As well as a complinentary sweet box for our journey.

It was more than a pleasant stay, they exceeded our expectation and we will be back. Thank you Brahim and the team.
