Situated in a building dating back to the late 17th century and facing a characteristic Venetian campiello (a typical courtyard), the air-conditioned city hotel was renovated in 2010 and offers its guests a wonderful Venetian experience. Formerly the property of the Marchesi Family from 1866 and the winter residence of the great-grandparents of the current owners, the building was transformed into a hotel in 1963. Facilities available to guests at the 28-room city hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a TV lounge, breakfast room and Internet access (fees apply).
The family-friendly hotel is located in the centre of Venice near San Marco Square, on one of the city’s most famous and elegant streets. Piazzale Roma park and bus station, as well as Santa Lucia train station, are approximately 2 km from the charming hotel, and Venice Marco Polo Airport is around 30 km away.
Each room features a modern design and is carefully furnished with typical Venetian items. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with shower, bathtub, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. A double or king-size bed and air conditioning/central heating also come as standard. Other in-room amenities include satellite TV, Internet access, a fridge/minibar, direct dial telephone, a safe and an ironing set.
From Marco Polo airport: take the water taxi directly in front of the Da Raffaele restaurant, near the Dee Ostreghe bridge, behind the hotel (in about 40 minutes) or a public vaporetto (water bus, about 1 hour and 15 minutes) to San Marco Square, it is then less than 10 minutes on foot. From Santa Lucia train station: take the water taxi directly in front of the Da Raffaele restaurant, near the Dee Ostreghe bridge, behind the hotel (in about 20 minutes) or the water bus line 1 to S. Maria del Giglio's water bus station (in about 50 minutes). From here guests can easily reach the hotel on foot in less than 5 minutes.
