We stayed here for 10 days and, despite my initial skepticism from reading many negative comments, our experience was actually quite good. The room was spacious and clean, with towels changed regularly by the maids. The furniture and style are old and not modern, but still functional and comfortable enough for a 10 day stay. Food was average: breakfast was basic and repetitive, nothing special but you could always find something to eat. Dinner was tasty, though the dishes were mostly the same every night with only small variations. Still, the quality was good and we could eat well. The hotel has an elevator, though it was out of order for 2–3 days (not a big problem for us since we were on the second floor). Air conditioning required an extra payment, but the money was refunded at the end.
In the lobby there is a billiard table, a claw machine, and a few other games. The location is excellent – close to the beach, a nice promenade, and the bus station with connections to Palma and the airport.
Overall, this is a simple 3-star hotel: nothing luxurious or modern, but clean, functional, and good value for money if you don’t expect more than what a 3-star hotel offers.

For the price, this hotel is excellent value for money.
We arrived with a bit of prejudice after reading some mixed reviews, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. The room and the balcony were perfectly fine. Housekeeping took out the trash and changed the towels every day, and the staff were always kind and helpful. To use the air conditioning, you leave a €15 deposit, which is fully refunded at check-out.

Breakfast and dinner also exceeded my expectations. Breakfast may not be extremely varied, but the selection is large enough to satisfy everyone. Dinner had some recurring dishes, but the menu changed daily. There was always seafood available (octopus, mussels, fish, etc.), all well-prepared. For those who prefer something simpler, there were also fries, stews, pasta, and pizza. My personal favorite was that every day there were desserts, fresh fruits, and vegetables available.

The only negative point I can mention is the fluctuating water temperature in the shower, which could be a bit tricky to adjust. Aside from that, everything was great. The beach is only about a 5–8 minute walk away, with many shops and bus stops nearby, so the location is ideal.

An extra bonus for me was the game room inside the hotel (a few euros to use), and the outdoor pool, which is clean, has a small bar, and is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The water was cold, so we didn’t use it often, but it was still refreshing.

Overall, I had a lovely 5-day stay here. Great value friendly staff, good food, and a fantastic location. I would definitely recommend it for a short holiday.

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel was old, poorly maintained, and absolutely not clean. There were insects everywhere – in the room and, even worse, in the food. The food itself was terrible, with extremely low quality, and nothing seemed safe to eat.

To make things worse, water was dripping from the ceiling inside the room, which made the stay incredibly uncomfortable and even unsafe. Housekeeping was a joke – and we heard multiple rumors from other guests that cleaning staff had stolen personal belongings from their rooms. That made the entire stay feel unsafe and uneasy.

To sum it up: this place should be avoided at all costs. It was like living in a nightmare. Pure hell

This place is horrible. The beds are very hard and the pillows are thin. The AC works, but the remote is falling apart and held together by tape. They advertised parking and once we arrived they said they didn't have any. The water in the shower switches from room temperature to scorching hot to cold without changing the heat. All the beds are squeezed together with not even 6cm in between.

WIFI

You have to pay for wifi, PERDAY, PER PHONE. 4€ a day for one phone to have a low connection wifi. It is dumb.

Aug 2025: WORST hotel on Mallorca. Do NOT stay here. There is NO PARKING on premises. There is NO restaurant on premises. The shower either burns you or freezes. They have ROACHES. The hotel has not be remodelled since the 80's! The bed mattresses and pillows are super thin.... horrible horrible! I'd rather sleep on the beach or in my car! Don't waste your money here. The walls are also paper thin!

Even if it is the cheapest in the area, Would definitely NOT recommend!!! Very old and unmaintained hotel. No pressure on toilet water, it is impossible to have constant water temperature in shower, very old and smelly furniture. Uncomfortable mattress and pillow. The room service wouldn't change sheets and towels, I had to specifically request to be changed. The TV and AC remotes are NOT in the room, you have to ask for them at the reception. Some receptionists would ask for €15 cash deposit, DON'T do that! We waited until morning and asked from the other receptionist( which was local) and he gave them to us without any cash deposit! It is a max 2 star hotel, definitely not 3 stars. Also AVOID S'Arenal area!!! Not a nice area! Very poor food at very high prices. Dodgy people and scams on the streets!

As a regular traveller I visit many hotels,I use to go by reviews, but not anymore.
I will rate this hotel on my own personal experience. Check in straight forward and quick,staff I seen was always polite,my room was decent size,clean,and comfortable, the breakfast was acceptable and good value,I tried the £10 euro dinner,the staff said go and look before you decide,what was a decent thing to say,for £10 euro,again acceptable, the hotel is close to shops and beech ,basically a 10 minute walk.i think the reviews are terrible,if you want 5 star,pay 5 star prices and stop moaning,for what I paid,was fair,so cassandra hotel,gets a ,would I return.
