Overall, this is an okay resort with some genuinely good features, but there are several issues that should be handled much better at this price point.

The food is generally tasty and there is plenty of variety at each meal. However, the selection is largely the same every day, so it becomes repetitive during a longer stay. Most dishes with sauces are also slightly spicy, which means the options are not always suitable for toddlers or children who prefer milder food.

This is a large resort, so guests should expect a fair amount of uphill and downhill walking every day. That is not necessarily a problem, but it is worth considering for families with young children, pushchairs, elderly guests, or anyone with limited mobility.

The beach, sea and pools are all nice, and there is plenty for children to do. The animation team is good, and the mini disco was one of the highlights for our child. However, the indoor pool was closed throughout our entire stay, which we didn't care about but it might be worth to note.

Finding sunbeds around the pools can be challenging because many guests reserve them early with towels and then disappear for long periods. I eventually dealt with this by removing towels from clearly unused reserved beds and using them myself. Unfortunately, when the hotel does not enforce its own rules, guests are left to solve the problem themselves.

I also paid for a massage and hammam experience, which was solid overall - around 8/10. However, the way the free Turkish bath facilities are managed was disappointing. The hammam is supposedly available to all guests, but my husband was told he could not use it because there was nowhere to leave his phone and room key. Strangely, storage space was available when I arrived for my paid treatment. It felt like guests who do not want to purchase additional services are deliberately discouraged from using the facilities included in their stay.

That reflects a wider issue across the resort: there is a lot of upselling. Someone is frequently trying to sell you a treatment, excursion, photograph or other extra. Prices also seem flexible depending on where staff believe you are from, so I would recommend asking for the price in advance and being prepared to negotiate or decline.

The drinks, particularly the alcoholic drinks and cocktails, were poor. The cocktails are often not remotely similar to what you would normally expect when ordering by name. To be fair, I have had a similar experience at several all-inclusive resorts in both Turkey and Egypt, but it is still something guests should be aware of.

Another major issue was the elevators in one section of the hotel, which were constantly out of order. This was not an occasional inconvenience but a recurring problem throughout the stay. Guests placed on higher floors, especially families with pushchairs or small children, may find this extremely frustrating.

One final and important note for families: there are lifeguards around the pools, but parents still need to watch their children constantly. During our stay, a child almost drowned in one of the pools. It happened incredibly quickly and was a frightening reminder that lifeguards are not a substitute for close supervision.

Overall, the resort has nice pools, a good beach, tasty food and enjoyable children’s entertainment. However, the repetitive meals, broken elevators, sunbed situation, aggressive upselling and questionable handling of the supposedly free hammam facilities affected the experience. For the amount charged, these issues should be managed far better. We have stayed at smaller resorts in the Antalya region that were considerably better organised and offered a smoother overall experience.

Amazing stay for our honeymoon at the Horus Paradise! Our travel agent mentioned that we were on our honeymoon and we had our room upgraded and housekeeping put flowers on our bed for our arrival. Fantastic location with only a short bus (10 euro taxi) to Side or a 30 min walk. Side old town is beautiful with plenty of shops and bars to suit everyone and the amphitheatre is definitely one to see. At the hotel there are plenty of pools to suit your vibe! Ours was definitely the pool near the bar which had music and daily entertainment. I cannot thank the entertainment team and bar staff enough (especially Ozzy!) as they all worked so hard to make our stay perfect! The hotel is full of different nationalities so can make for some really interesting conversations and new friends. The food is very European friendly so if you are a fussy eater like me you may have to search for something you like but there is so much choice I always found something. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed when left in the shower as most hotels now. The hotel is huge with 3 different buildings and so it took us a day to figure out our way around but staff will always help out. Overall for the price we paid we could not have asked for a better stay for our honeymoon. Thank you.

The hotel stands out for its theme, which incorporates ancient Egyptian culture and architecture.
It is very close to the center of Side, making it a short drive or a decent walk away from famous historical spots like the Side Antique Theater and the Temple of Apollo.
It has multiple swimming pools (around 6 or 7, depending on the seasonal setups), including indoor/outdoor options, family pools, and an aqua park with waterslides.
Hotel features a main buffet restaurant, several à la carte restaurants (like Turkish and international cuisines), and multiple bars spread across the lobby, pool, and private beach area.
It features a full-service spa with a traditional Turkish bath (hammam), saunas, a fitness center, a kids' club, and nightly entertainment or live shows.
LOVE IT!!!

Nice big, green territory. 5 pools outside. The sea not far.
Friendly and very helpful staff.
I'm happy about animators work they create different shows every evening and give attention for every single person.
The food very nice, there is healthy meal options, different not bored menu every day. If you are hungry between main meals, you can get some snacks from snack bar.
I'm very recommend that place!

We have stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row because last year we were absolutely amazed by it. Our satisfaction is still at the highest level, and I hope that our next holiday will also be spent there.
The entire resort is luxurious and beautiful, with excellent hygiene standards, and even the most demanding guests will find everything they need. The rooms are lovely, clean, and regularly maintained. It is also easy to communicate and arrange everything with the housekeeping staff.
The reception staff are extremely helpful and always do their best to accommodate the guests’ needs, especially Ms. Sude, who was wonderful.
Regarding the bars throughout the resort, the employees are true professionals who prepare excellent drinks with great skill. Some of them even remember your favourite and usual drink. I would especially like to mention one kind bartender who welcomes his regular guests with the words “big smile”.
In all restaurants of the resort, the service is first-class and the care for guests is exceptional. However, I would especially like to highlight the Horus Restaurant, where during every dinner the staff were perfectly prepared even for a large number of guests. I have never experienced such professionalism as shown by this evening team of waiters, assistant managers, and managers of the restaurant.
These employees took care of the guests continuously, without breaks or signs of tiredness. They were always kind, smiling, and of course very professional and intelligent. I would especially like to highlight the team leader, Mr. Miraç.
The location of the resort is excellent, directly on the beach, where clean sunbeds and umbrellas were always available for hotel guests. The pools in the resort area were always clean and sunbeds were prepared for visitors.
The hotel animators took excellent care of guests of all age groups and provided great entertainment for everyone.
Maybe I have forgotten to mention something, but that is probably because even after returning home to Slovakia, I am still amazed by this beautiful country, the wonderful hotel, and the perfect services.

Thank you to the entire team and the management of the resort for taking such excellent care of us and making our stay unforgettable.
