The location of the hotel was perfect for us, quiet and peaceful place. I will definitely recommend to choose HB in this hotel, breakfasts and dinners were tasty. Personnel, especially in the restaurant, were very friendly. The room was not new, but comfortable enough. The beach, pools, SPA were nice.
BUT I can't give this hotel more than 3, because of cockroaches!!! There were cockroaches in the bathroom, in public toilet near reception and on the territory. It was terrible. It was the first time I had seen such disaster in the hotel. Be careful.

Eurotel Punta Rotja offers some really great service, good food and a large range of facilities such as a calming spa, swimming pools, a fitness studio and even a secluded ocean area with crystal clear water. The location of the hotel is not optimal for explorational people, since there is not much to do except lay back and enjoy a cocktail near the water, and traveling around requires a car. However, the idyllic scenery compensates for that.

The rooms and other facilities are generally well maintained, although one might encounter some minor inconveniences such as uneven floorboards or electrical faults. But these are all not a reason to reconsider your stay  at Eurotel Punta Rotja, mainly because you receive access to a wonderful vacation opportunity for a very good price.

One of the most controversial stays I've had — a real mix of highs and lows.

The pool area is great for kids, with a decent poolside restaurant and two excellent non-hotel restaurants just a minute’s walk away. There’s also a lovely souvenir shop on-site with an attentive owner, and a supermarket nearby for essentials. Rooms are very spacious, all with balconies, and housekeeping does a great job.

But the downsides really impacted the experience. The bed was on wheels and kept moving at night, making it hard to sleep. Rooms and bathrooms are outdated, with only a bathtub to stand in for showers. The air con was noisy and ineffective, both in the room and corridors. There’s nothing for kids beyond the pool – no playroom, games, or even a coloring area. The half-board food was repetitive, with frozen breads and prefab options like boxed churros.

Staff experience was 50/50: some were fantastic (especially at the pool bar), but a few were rude and inflexible — even refusing to let me move a chair so my 5-year-old could sit beside me. That only happened twice in 14 meals, but it left a bad impression.

In summary: lots of potential, but big issues that shouldn’t be ignored.

Just had 2 weeks very relaxing hotel.  Big rooms, very clean.  Bathroom and dressing area insulate the room from corridor noise, were there to be any.  Fabulous views from this hotel which is away from towns but in an exclusive, high class area with a few local restaurants, a shop with fresh food and groceries, a car hire business, taxi information and very easy bus service to Cala Bona/Millor and further.  Direct access to the sea via a jetty and steps, snorkelling and swimming very good.  Kayak trips from nearby beach and a small harbour at the foot of the hotel.  Separate restaurant La Cabana in hotel grounds has splendid views directly over the sea and looks very stylish.  Good spa, gym, sauna facilities with large hydro therapy/massage pool.  Also separate indoor pool.
Mature staff at this hotel are very welcoming and recognise frequent visitors (of which there are many) very warmly, like old friends.

Outdoor dining at breakfast and evening absolutely lovely with some stunning sunsets.

Some good nightly entertainment;  don't miss the Flamenco dancers and the Spanish group Rumba Kings.

Spacious, tidy, clean rooms. Staff were very helpful and attentive at check in and if we had queries. Spa was amazing. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lots of options and multiple coffee machines to use. Restaurants nearby were all great.
We we're on our honeymoon and one evening we came back to a bottle of champage, strawberries and chocolates! Thank you!

Downsides - attitude of staff at the pool bar. Felt disadvantaged because I spoke English. Some takeaway food from the pool bar would be awesome and would give reprieve to the wait staff.
Elevators are painfully slow. Please put a few $$ into upgrading the system to make it efficient.

The hotel is definitely not dog-friendly. Dogs are only allowed in the room, which we only found out after our arrival and after paying for a full week’s stay, when they gave us a contract with all sorts of ridiculous rules and required us to sign it. This information should be on the website, not something used to charge a €20/day fee without allowing the dog to accompany us anywhere. We found this quite rude.
Since we were in a situation where we couldn’t leave our dog alone and didn’t want to eat separately during our holiday, we didn’t want to sign the agreement. The dog is still a puppy that can’t be left alone and would have barked in the room.

To explain our situation: it was midnight when we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist wouldn’t let us speak to the manager or sign the contract for just one night, so we could rest after the long journey and handle everything with the manager the next day. The staff didn’t speak English well and refused to communicate with us. She refused to accommodate us, and we had to sleep in the car.
We have a 6 kg female dog, who would have sat quietly under the table during breakfast and dinner. However, this was also prohibited by the manager (not in person, but again through the receptionist), and he only allowed us to carry our food on a tray to the upgraded room, which was really no better. The beds were old and sagging, the air conditioning was noisy, and the bathroom was outdated—this is really not a 4-star hotel.
They put us on the 6th floor, even though the elevators are barely functional, fitting only two people. During breakfast and dinner, there were always queues at the elevator, and we awkwardly had to wait in line with a tray in our hands while people watched us and looked at our food. Otherwise, we would have had to walk up to the 6th floor because we would never have gotten the elevator—many other guests were in the same situation.
The hotel staff were unpleasant, clearly did not like dogs, and always looked at us as if we were crazy for bringing our dog. From our experience in other hotels, this is not how pet-friendly hotels behave. Here, they only “allow” dogs to be able to charge extra money. We would have chosen another hotel instead.
