Location

The island of Rhodes is located in the South Aegean Sea. Happy Days Hotel is found at the north western side of the island set back a couple of hundred metres from the sea front. The resort is close to the colourful traditional village of Theologos, or Tholos as it is sometimes known, with its mixture of shops, restaurants and tavernas to give guests a glimpse of local life. Further south from Theologos is the Valley of the Butterflies which, as the name suggests, is teeming with butterflies in the summer months and is a popular tourist attraction for those who wish to explore the natural parkland. The nearest airport is Rhodes International airport which is just 3.2 miles away.

Room Types

The 46 guest rooms at the Happy Days Hotel are decorated in light, fresh tones and all have great views from their balconies of the pool, gardens or even a side view of the sea from some of the higher rooms. The Standard Double / Twin Rooms sleep two adults although extra beds can be added if required. Also available are Double or Single Rooms. All include a bathroom with shower, TV, radio, direct dial telephone, fridge, safety deposit box and air conditioning at extra cost. Daily housekeeping will ensure that guests remain comfortable when in their rooms throughout their stay.

Food and Drink

The Happy Days Hotel has a restaurant on site which serves a breakfast buffet and other meals and snacks throughout the day. A pool bar also serves delicious drinks and cocktails to guests around the sun terrace and gardens. The resort has its own mini market at which guests can purchase additional drinks, snacks, fruit and other local produce. Those that venture out from the hotel can sample the bars, restaurants and tavernas in and around Theologos which offer good value tasty food, traditional Greek hospitality and are suitable for children. The Little Greek Kitchen in the village also doubles as a cooking school in the mornings so guests can learn further about local dishes.

The unique shaped spacious outdoor swimming pool will satisfy guests wanting to lounge and relax in the Greek sunshine on the sun terrace where plenty of sun loungers and parasols are provided. For children there’s a separate pool and a playground. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby area and one or two nights a week there is a Greek night and a live music function. As the area inland from the Happy Days Hotel is perfect for hiking and cycling it is possible to hire a bike at the hotel and organised excursions along various routes for different proficiencies are offered.
