This hotel exceeded our expectations in almost everything.
The location is perfect, yards from the beach and a few minutes walk from town.
Our room was large and cleaned every morning although the room needed attention to detail in places, the TV signal was poor and we didn't have tea /coffee facilities as promised.
We were all inclusive and really glad because Calla D'or is not a cheap place to eat or drink anymore. The food was plentiful, good quality and varied.
The staff are lovely, they speak very good English and are always helpful.
Outdoor spaces are well kept and we didn't feel.it was crowded although it was early October so towards the end of the season.
Overall, we felt the price we paid was a real bargain so we would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

The location of this hotel is amazing, right in front of the beach and a very close to all the restaurants and shops. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The all inclusive food has something for everyone but can be repetitive.
This is a 3 star hotel but a very good one. The complaints about this hotel are because the people who book this think they should be getting a 5 star when it is only a 3. The price you pay is worth it for the location alone.

The location is good, a leisurely five-minute walk to the sea. The rooms themselves need renovation. The food and drinks are good. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel, which is very convenient if you're not happy with the food and drinks 🙃😉 The staff is welcoming and friendly, except for the room cleaning. On the third day, our room was cleaned. They emptied the trash from the bin instead of replacing the bag, so some trash remained in it. The beds weren't made or the sand was shaken off. The floors weren't washed, only the towels were replaced. When I asked what services were included in the cleaning, the reception staff couldn't answer. The towels we borrowed for the pool, which cost €7 each, had holes in them. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I don't think I'll come here again.

I’m pleased to give the Gavimar Cala Gran a 5-star review, as it exceeded almost every expectation I had for a 3-star hotel. We initially booked self-catering, but a small issue with the room arose. The manager resolved it quickly and genuinely sought a solution to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. He arranged an alternative room we were very happy with and offered us an upgrade to all-inclusive, which we paid for. We were completely satisfied with the food at all meal times.

Throughout our stay, the manager was consistently present and attentive to guests’ needs. A major highlight was the location — just a short walk to Cala Gran beach, reachable without crossing roads. The beach itself is one of the best we’ve visited: soft sand both on the shore and underfoot in the sea, with no pebbles or rocks. The turquoise water was warm, crystal clear, and perfect for swimming.

The location of the hotel is great, is by the beach. The beach is lovely , water is very clean and lovely blue colour. The hotel need some upgrades to the rooms, they are not changing the bed sheets for all week, they do clean every day but not how it should. There’s no tea, coffee facilities in the room, no fridge, tv got bad signal, WiFi not working good. The food was good, enough dishes to chose for but the problem is the restaurant is too small for the amount of people they’ve had in the hotel and you have to wait for a table on all inclusive. The pool is too small , drinks was ok ish . Overall was ok for the price we paid. If you want a place to relax and to be cheap I will recommend this hotel. There’s plenty restaurants and shops around.

Our family of five recently stayed at the Gavimar Cala Gran Costa Hotel and Resort in Mallorca, and we had a fantastic time! The location is perfect, with the beach just a minute's walk away and visible from the entertainment area near the pool. The resort is huge, with three different pools catering to all ages. The staff were incredibly nice and even surprised my parents with a bottle of champagne for their birthdays, which was a lovely touch. Plus, it was conveniently located next to many shops and the town center, making it easy to explore the area.

We were a bit apprehensive about the food after reading some reviews, but we found it perfectly fine. While some dishes might be considered bland, there was always plenty to choose from. After a few days, the variety did become a bit repetitive, but overall, we enjoyed the meals. Our room was a good size for a family of five, and having two bathrooms was a definite plus. The snack buffet was amazing, and the drinks were great with lots of options.

The entertainment throughout the day was good, and the nighttime activities, like bingo, music, and quizzes, created a great vibe. The only downside was that you can't use floats or balls in the pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other families!
