High quality and professional staff; service focused work. Money doesn't come first for them: service quality and customer satisfaction first. A genuine smiling and helpful manner. The best Turkish cuisine and great kitchen. Wonderful location and beach. Marvelous panorama from the dining place. One of the best places in the world for me. I come every year and I definitely recommend everyone to come and enjoy this fascinating experience!

This was our second stay at this hotel, and it definitely won’t be our last. Coming back truly felt like returning to a second home. Seeing so many of the same staff members as last year says a lot about this hotel and the people who work here.

First of all, a huge thank you to the Reservations and Reception teams for making our stay so special. They kindly fulfilled my request before arrival by giving us the same room as last year and even prepared beautiful birthday decorations and a lovely surprise for my father’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated! 🙏

A special thank you to Reception Chief Aliye Duyar. She always has a smile, always has a solution, and truly makes guests feel valued.

I’d also like to thank guys from the restaurant and bar - Musa, Can, and the gentleman working evening shifts at the lobby bar (I’m sorry I forgot your name). Your service was consistently excellent, friendly, and attentive.

The location is perfect - right in the heart of Alanya, just across the road from beautiful Cleopatra Beach, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and the cable car within walking distance.

The food was delicious with a great variety of fresh fruit, tasty desserts, afternoon snacks, waffles, and ice cream. The chefs and restaurant team were always smiling and welcoming. The rooms are compact but comfortable, cleaned daily, and the entire hotel is spotless with a lovely atmosphere.

Now, just a few suggestions that I genuinely hope will help make an already wonderful hotel even better.

I’d love to see a Kyiv, Ukraine clock added to the Reception display alongside the other world clocks. It would be a lovely gesture for Ukrainian guests.

Last year, despite arriving very early in the morning, we received such a warm welcome. We were immediately offered water, given our All Inclusive wristbands, and made to feel at home from the very first moment. This year, my parents arrived at a similar time, but unfortunately their experience was different. They weren’t offered water or their wristbands until they went back to Reception and asked for them. It’s a small detail, but first impressions really do matter.

There was also a very young bellboy who escorted us to our room. During our stay he made a few jokes that felt a little inappropriate. Nothing serious, but perhaps a bit more training and experience will help him become a great member of the team.

There was also one waiter in the restaurant (the slightly heavier gentleman wearing glasses) who wasn’t quite as attentive as the rest of the team. We noticed on both of our visits that he seemed to give more attention to some guests than others. I’m sure this wasn’t intentional, but I believe every guest deserves the same warm and friendly service, regardless of nationality.

My biggest suggestion would be regarding Guest Relations.

Please, don’t take this as a complaint, but as constructive feedback from someone who has worked as a Guest Relations Manager for more than eight years and genuinely wants this wonderful hotel to become even better.

I really like the idea of sending guests a satisfaction survey during their stay. Unfortunately, after submitting my feedback, nobody contacted me, and on my departure day I had to ask myself why there had been no response.

I had actually praised our housekeeper but also mentioned that the bathroom ventilation grille was extremely dirty. This certainly didn’t affect our holiday, but it suggests that regular room inspections could be done. The Guest Relations representative was polite and apologetic, but I believe the guest follow-up process deserves much more attention.

Despite these comments, I’m still giving this hotel 5 stars because the positives far outweigh the negatives. We genuinely love this hotel, we’ll definitely be back for a third visit, and these suggestions come only because I’d love to see an already fantastic hotel become even better.

Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful holiday.

See you again soon! ❤️

We spent a week at the hotel in July 2025. The rooms are well equipped, there was cleaning and fresh towels every day. There were lots of cats on the hotel terrace and in the nearby park, they were very friendly and cute. The food at the hotel was very varied and delicious every day. The staff always tried to make us feel good in every way. The service was fast, everyone was very kind and friendly to us. They deserve a lot of praise!!! The beach is very close, clean and a nice place to relax. We returned home to Hungary with very nice memories, we would go back for another vacation anytime. Thank you Hotel Gardenia!

Gardenia Hotel in Alanya truly exceeded all my expectations – I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

The location is just perfect: only a few steps away from the beach and also within walking distance of the city center, so you can enjoy both the sea and the local buzz without needing a car. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained — everything is clean, well-kept, and welcoming. You can really feel that they pay close attention to the little details and to the guests' comfort and needs.

One of the highlights for me was the food: every meal was delicious, fresh, and varied. And the fact that the restaurant is located on the 6th floor makes dining even more special — the view over the beach and the sea is absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset.

What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. They are not only professional and helpful, but also incredibly warm and friendly. Everyone was genuinely kind and approachable, and they truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. You never felt like "just another guest" — their attitude was personal, welcoming, and full of positive energy.

All in all, I had a fantastic time at Gardenia Hotel, and I would definitely return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

4 star hotel with 5 star price, 3 star service and 2 star staff. No animation whatsoever, pool too small for the hotel size, rooms very cheap and basic, some staff is rude, not a smile at reception during check in at night, staff do not speak English (except the only nice lady who is reception manager). I was stuck at elevator between floors, light went off and I've been there in agony screaming for a while and alarms did not work, eventually it moved and I went to reception to warn the staff and was disregarded by staff who did not care, this could've been a very serious situation if I was stuck there for longer. Did stairs for the remainder of holiday. Horrible experience at this hotel. For this price could have went to much better. My room although had good views I could hear everything from outside (music and people talking on a busy street, windows are not double glazed). Only good thing is restaurant views and location across the beach.
