The reception  staff were very helpful and friendly, but this hotel is not up to the level oland attention to detail of other Eurostar hotels we visited in Spain. The room was too hot when we arrived (27 degrees) and there is no AC option. The heater was blasting when we arrived and it did not cool down much despite opening the window for several hours. The heat really affected our ability to have a good sleep. The beds were hard and noisy and need to be replaced. We booked one night and were planning to stay another night, just for convenience of location. When we tried to ask the receptionist to book the second night, they said the "system" is not working and we need to book online. We tried to book online later, but the price was more  than double what we paid for the first night (increased to 300 Euros for 1 night on a weekday) This price is not reasonable for the quality of the hotel and not a peak day. I would not recommend this hotel because the reason people need a hotel is to sleep.  This hotel does not pay attention to the details for ensuring a good night's sleep for it's guests. Also, in the morning, I paid for 2 breakfast tickets at the reception but I was not informed that the restaurant is very strict about closing the breakfast at 11. We had slept in because we didn't sleep well. They were very pushy and militant  about getting us out of the restaurant (albeit with a smile on their face)  and we had to rush our breakfast which we paid for. It was not pleasant.

Room is large and clean, location is ok though a little far if you're going to the old city. The main issue is the lack of sound proofing - you can hear neighbours talking and running their tap, also the cars outside. Water pressure is not strong enough for a nice shower. Eurostars Astoria is better in these aspects, though the room size is smaller.

For a 4-Star, it's not as good as Barcelo which is diagonally opposite to it. Room was smaller, not double bed compared to the king size in Barcelo. Even the buffet breakfast spread had fewer options than Barcelo (however, Eurostars serve Churros :)).
The staff were very courteous and responsive, especially the ones i interacted with during breakfast.

This is my last night in Andalusia &  Eurostars Malaga is the most expensive & sadly worst Eurostars hotel that I have stayed in by some margin. I wish I’d gone elsewhere.

I believed that i had booked (on their website) a standard room with b&b plus parking.

The front desk spent time “proving” that I was wrong & must pay extra for breakfast. Made me feel like a really valued customer … NOT.

The rooms are really basic & tired, nothing like the other Eurostars that I’ve stayed in over the past 10 days. Disappointed in every way 🙁The same option online tonight is €23 cheaper - insult to injury.

PS just gone to bed & found that at the end of November the bedding consists of a top sheet, … no duvet, no nothing!!!! Can’t wait to leave & go home to some warmth & comfort. A disgrace to what I thought was a luxury brand.

1. The rooms don't even have a free bottle of water
2. Internet as per picture is extremely slow, keep it mind if you're here for a business trip
3. Rooms are extremely noisy (can hear people talking, at the toilet or taking shower)
4. Gym is dirty and machines don't work properly

Staff is nice and friendly, but the hotel for that price really need an improvement
