The Ideal Family Getaway – Luxury, Warmth and Stunning Sea Views!

We had a wonderful stay at Esperides Family Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The service throughout our stay was outstanding — friendly, professional, and always with a smile.

The food was exceptional, both in presentation and quality — every meal felt like dining in a fine restaurant, full of flavour and beautifully served. Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with a breathtaking view of the sea that made every morning magical.

There are plenty of activities to join and evening shows to enjoy, which made every day fun and engaging. And to top it all off, the team surprised me on my birthday with a beautiful card and a delicious cake — such a thoughtful gesture that made my day truly special.

We can’t recommend Esperides Family Resort enough — a perfect place to relax, celebrate, and create unforgettable memories!

Just got back from 10 days all inclusive with a 12 and 8 year old
Down side - rooms are a bit small, that is probably it for the negatives though
Staff are brilliant and seem to really care about the resort and customers having a good time. The management should be grateful for the dedication the employees and on site management show.
The food is always fresh and hot, as with any all inclusive it does get a bit samey. There are also hot food options available all day.
Slides would prob be a bit slow for teenagers but kept mine busy all day.
Pool was a touch cold for October.
Would defo recommend for families.
Water park which is a 5-10 walk away is also superb.

Disappointing Experience Despite Friendly Staff

Unfortunately, we can only give our booked hotel a very limited recommendation. Upon arrival, we were immediately confronted with an uncommunicated tourist tax of 80 euros – a detail that should have been mentioned in the LuxAirTours documentation.

The advertised all-inclusive concept turned out to be disappointingly limited. The offered beverages were of poor quality, and basic amenities like coffee or tea at dinner were completely absent. The minibar was only stocked with water, soft drinks, and beer on the first day – from the second day onwards, only one 0.5-liter water bottle per person was provided. Only after explicit request were two water bottles per person made available, but soft drinks and beer remained unavailable.

We found the atmosphere during meals particularly disturbing. The breakfast hall was extremely loud, and plates were cleared during conversations – a clear signal to leave. The dinner hall was harshly lit, which similarly gave the impression that guests should leave as quickly as possible.

Additional costs arose in many places: beach shoes (despite a stony beach with injury risk – both knees scraped), luggage scale, billiards, and even children's games in the play area were subject to extra charges. Snacks like chips or nuts were completely absent at the bar – instead, guests were referred to the hotel's own supermarket. The prohibition on taking glasses out was communicated insistently, with guests sometimes being followed and glasses taken from their hands.

To salvage something positive from our vacation, we went to Rhodes for dinner four times and preferred to pay extra despite our all-inclusive booking.

Worth highlighting positively are our beautiful room with a wonderful view and the hotel staff, who remained consistently friendly and dedicated despite these restrictive hotel policies.

For future bookings, we hope for more transparent representation of services and a hotel that actually lives up to its all-inclusive promise.

Had a great week at Esperides. Nothing I can fault. The hotel was clean, the food was varied and great quality. I didn't want to leave! All the kids loved the pool and the mini disco. The entertainers were awesome. The hotel also has a car rental right outside, and very reasonably priced, so got to go on a tour of Rhodes.

Went as a family of four (children 11 and 13) for our first all inclusive experience and have to say we did love it. We arrived late and was woken quite early by the maids but learnt to use our do not disturb sign on the door handle. There was a small fridge in our room with a couple of beers, sandwiches and bottled water. The water was replenished throughout our stay which was a nice touch.
The hotel is very large, but is spotless. All of the staff are so friendly including the maids and all welcome you with Kalimera in the mornings. All of the staff clearly work so hard to keep this place running smoothly.
Drinks quality was not great but OK. Plenty of different bars and areas to get different food and drinks throughout the day. There were doughnuts and waffles available throughout the day which were a particular hit. With regards to breakfast and dinner- The main restaurant was busy. There was plenty of space so not really any queues. The pizza bar was a hit with my kids, but there was plenty to choose from and lots of variety. My only criticism was that it was hard to find the greek food. It would have been nice to have a greek food area. The staff was so quick to clear tables. At dinner we were offered drinks when we sat and at breakfast a jug of coffee. It was a nice calm experience despite being a buffet. The main restaurant is harshly lit, would recommend sitting outside which was more pleasant.
The waterslides were a nice extra. They are not that big, but big enough for the kids to be occupied for a while.
We went in October where there were still plenty of people around which made for a good atmosphere. The pool sunbeds were taken often, but you could get one if you went early enough after breakfast. There were plenty of sunbeds around the site including on the beach where there was a little caravan serving drinks as well.
The entertainment was fine in the evenings and didn't go on for too long. Daytime there was waterpolo and beach volley ball, aqua aerobics and yoga.
On the jetty on the beach there are regular boat trips that stop for Lindos and also Rhodes Town. I would recommend going to both of them.
We also went to the waterpark across the road. It is up a long hill, but was a great day out. We were there from start to closing. It was not too busy and not many queues.

Great stay here last week. We were in a modern room- very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and hotel was a good size. The food was varied, cooked fresh and tasty enough. Bar staff were great, very friendly and efficient. Some of the entertainment was fantastic, others less so. Difficult finding a sun-bed by the pool in the morning but there was more availability on the beach. Lots of activities for children. Lovely sparkling sea and so handy having the jetty outside the hotel beach for boat pick ups.
