My family and I have just booked to go back to this hotel as we had a fantastic holiday here in 2024.
It is a small intimate hotel with friendly, attentive and helpful staff. The drinks are all delicious, cocktails are made to order with no sticky, sickly sweet syrups in sight. The food, although all inclusive, is fantastic. Everything we ate was tasty, hot and a great selection. It isn't a huge buffet but everything there (still plenty of choice) is executed very well. Delicious bread and salad station, breakfast your usual choices with eggs made to order if requested. The desserts at this hotel are the best I've had. Sometimes desserts in all inclusive hotels look fantastic and taste the same, white fluffy air......here it is not the case. I actually couldn't fit into my shorts after 2 weeks here. The pool area is small but enough and we only had trouble getting a longer on two occasions in the 12 days we were there. There's lilos and water rings to share around the pool and everyone we met (pretty much everyone) was so friendly, polite and interesting. The rooms are clean, very large and comfortable and the maintenance/cleaning staff work incredibly hard, which it shows. Excellent location, across the road from the beach and lots of bars, shops and restaurants within a 3 minute walk.
We can't wait to return in May, it is a fantastic place.

We loved our stay here - even my two teenage boys! The staff are lovely and so genuinely welcoming and attentive. We had a family room on the 3rd floor with great views of the sea. Everywhere was clean, the food was good and plentiful. The entertainment was chaotically brilliant thanks to Jack. I am by nature a grumpy and unsociable individual but by the end of 10 days, I was relaxed and chatty..my family found it very unnerving. The question is would I go back….in a heartbeat!

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. They were always smiling, helpful, and eager to assist with anything we needed. A very special mention goes to Jack, who went above and beyond to help my disabled daughter to gain confidence during the aqua aerobics sessions. His patience, encouragement, and genuine care made such a difference to her experience, and she now feels so much more confident and empowered in the water. Jack, you are a real gem! We will surely be back next year at the beginning of September, and next time, we’ll be staying longer to fully soak in all the wonderful experiences. I almost don't want to tell you about this fantastic find in Crete! The Dore Boutique Hotel is a small and very welcoming venue with wonderful staff, fantastic food and nice clean spacious rooms. The pool area is just right, pool beautifully clean. It's a short walk to the beach and there are lots of tavernas and shops nearby. Honestly, we've had a wonderful time. Special mention goes to the Chefs who manage to produce something different for lunch and dinner everyday. Thank you guys, hope to see you next year 🫶🏼

We had the best stay and holiday at the Dore hotel. A small personable hotel. Staff are amazing, food is excellent, and location is perfect - a stroll to both the beach and Agia Marina old town. Strong recommendation for those that want a family friendly safe, clean and chilled holiday!

Awesome would come again it looks fancy and the shower is massive. Silvy was great and really friendly and helpful would come again and I loved the receptionist she was so kind and showed us the rooms and restaurants and everything that the hotel offered. Recommended to everyone staying in Crete

Great hotel and the staff is so helpful and welcoming. We had a great time with the man who is in charge of activities like karaoke night and music quiz, and the staff in the bar had such good vibes. In the restaurant the staff recognised us and we had a good connection with great service. We were the only ones on a «boys trip» and the others were families or couples but we had a great time nevertheless! Recommended!
