Established in 1978, Dionysos Central is practically a Paphos staple. With just 111 rooms, they genuinely don’t make them like this anymore- exposed stone walls and marble floors greet you upon your arrival at reception.

Comfort remains at the fore of this much-loved resort, whose name is taken from the ancient Greek God of Wine, who represented the enjoyment of “the good things in life”, an ethos that permeates the hotel.

The modest outdoor pool is the perfect suntrap, set within a palmtree-lined patio. Sunloungers are dotted on the periphery where you’re welcome to recline with a book or enjoy a beverage made especially for you at the pool bar.
