Air conditioning in public areas

On paper, Diamant Hotel & Aparthotel looks like a great choice. The photos are appealing, the exterior is well maintained, and the facilities seem promising. Unfortunately, the reality has been very different.

The biggest issue is the air conditioning. During my stay it was around 33°C, and the air conditioning in the room was barely functioning. The lobby and common areas are noticeably cooler than the guest rooms, which makes me question whether the room air conditioning is intentionally limited or simply not maintained properly. Either way, trying to sleep in a hot room in the middle of summer is not acceptable.

Cleanliness was another major disappointment. When I entered the room, the floor felt damp and dirty. There was sand and dust around the desk, and I found ants crawling across the area. While waiting for someone to clean the room, I killed more than 20 ants myself. This isn’t the level of hygiene anyone should expect from a hotel at this price point.

The staff were polite, but they also seemed overwhelmed and unable to resolve the issues. I don’t blame the front desk or housekeeping staff—they appeared to be dealing with problems beyond their control. The impression I got was that this is a management issue rather than an isolated incident.

What disappoints me most is the gap between expectations and reality. The hotel markets itself well, but the guest experience simply doesn’t match. A comfortable, clean room with working air conditioning is a basic expectation, not a luxury.

If you’re visiting Mallorca during the summer, especially if you’re looking forward to returning to a cool room after a day in the heat, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I certainly wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to friends.

We loved our stay at the hotel. Highlights were the modern decor, the comfy beds and the breakfast buffet. We were two friends travelling together. We shared a room which suited us as we didn’t need to spend much time in the room. We loved the indoor pool and spa (although it would have been nice to have been able to access the sauna / steam in the morning or evening). The hotel is located just off the main road that has lots of bars and restaurants but it is tucked away which makes it feel more secluded than it is. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

I'd like to criticize first: Some employees seem to be annoyed or stressed out. Beverages are quite expensive with too much ice. Room cleaning could be better, our washbasin and shower wasn't cleaned at all within two weeks. The hotel rooms in general could be modernized in our area.
Weak air conditioners 🥵

Positive: quality and variety of food & Restaurant service, waiters, modern and good smelling entree

While the rest of my stay was genuinely pleasant and the hotel amenities were satisfactory, there was a severe and unacceptable issue with the cleanliness of the toilet in my room's bathroom. The hotel's location, common areas, and the general comfort of the room were really good. The staff was professional, and the check-in process was smooth. However, the condition of the toilet in the bathroom was frankly disgusting and completely unacceptable!!!!!!!!

I was here for a week with my family and we're definitely going next year too. I would recommend that you go to the newer rooms because they were very modern and well designed and because the other part of the hotel is a little outdated. Other than that it is very obvious that this hotel was renovated in 2019 because of the nice and modern furniture and design. All of the staff were very friendly, the only problem being that our room wasn't cleaned very well. The location of the hotel leaves nothing to be desired. The beach is a 5 minute walk and the nearest supermarket is also 5 minutes away. Going downtown takes about 10 minutes and there are also beautiful locations for hiking or biking not far away. Overall the location is very good because it is in a calmer area but you can go to the beach or downtown in almost no time. I also liked that everything was very clean and not overcrowded (f.e both of the pools) this really helps you relax and also makes it feel a bit more luxurious. The food was also very tasty and it didn't get repetitive or boring. There was always a great selection of food (some already sat for a while) but almost all of it was great and there was something for every taste. Overall this was one of the best hotels i have been to and the island itself is very beautiful and in no way only a party- location. 9/10 would definitely recommend.

4-star hotel, designed for all types of guests. Excellent quality/price ratio and very high customer satisfaction. It is located in a quiet area, but very close to the shopping area and some of the best beaches on the north-east coast of Mallorca. Equipped with all the comforts and facilities to make your guests' stay a fantastic experience. Located within the Diamant holiday complex, it offers a multitude of activities and services: 24h. reception, Bar Cafeteria, Buffet Restaurant. Bar Cafeteria, Buffet Restaurant for breakfast and half board. Outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools; sports areas: mini-golf, volleyball, children's playground and many others. Free Wifi throughout the hotel.
