Things To Keep In Mind

This hotel is a complete joke. The photos online are from the main building, but that’s not where you’ll actually stay. Instead, you get escorted to shabby rooms that look more like a cheap roadside motel, far from the advertised hotel itself.

The reality is awful: it takes forever for warm water to come through, there were no bedsheets or toilet paper provided, and the room was filthy with visible mold. The door was half broken, and the shower was so tiny and grimy that I didn’t even feel safe using it.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. False advertising at its finest.

You will certainly not be getting a 5 star rating from me.

I have never stayed at such a poor excuse of a hotel.

I have no idea how you have such a good rating online, I can only think that the reviews must be fake!

The customer service is appalling! How can you expect people to return when the staff treat you as if you are an inconvenience to their day?

I had to make the receptionist aware that we had arrived to check in 3 times because she was too busy chatting to her mate.

The shower curtain in the room was disgusting, the shower was not adjustable so could not shower properly. It had to be detached in order for us to actually be able to wet ourselves.

The hot food was cold. The salad bar consisted just of cabbage, no other salad bits in sight!

For the price we paid, the variety of food was poor. Breakfast was the same thing every day, and no fresh fruit was available. There was no butter at the buffet, I had to ask for it.

The amenities were broken, ie the the pool table was not available for use because it was "broken". The staff said there were no cues available.

We managed to play one game of table tennis, and when we wanted to play it again the next day we were told the ball was broken.

My partner cut himself on a sun lounger where it had been broken and not repaired or replaced. We removed 3 such broken sun loungers to where the pool table was so that nobody else hurt themselves on it. They were then put back by staff, with a total disregard for customer wellbeing.

The only positive thing about our stay was the actual pool.

I will never return to this place and I will let everyone in my path know that they should never waste their money on this excuse of an accommodation.

Other people felt the same, and their concerns were just shrugged at by staff.

Know that I will be putting this exact review on Google, and anywhere else I can so that people can be aware.

Although, you only post fake reviews anyway, so what good would that be?

rooms were meh, had some ants in them. food was horrendous, my family and i don't eat pork, out of the 7 nights we were there only 1 had chicken. location a little far out from faliraki but had a bus to take you to beach and you can take the public bus to the town to save yourself 10 euro

Clean but bathroom was a horror. I've got foot fungus and warts :) after that experience. Little worse then "greek standart"

Absolutely appalling experience – avoid at all costs
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. We experienced a serious security breach when someone broke in through our balcony, and despite reporting the incident multiple times to both staff and management, no real concern or action was taken. To make matters worse, we had reported that our in-room safe wasn’t working from the beginning of our stay, and again, it was completely ignored.

We had to change our flights to attend the police station, and the hotel showed no sympathy or support – not even offering a room, food, or a drink while we dealt with the stress of the situation. Staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and made it very clear they couldn’t care less. They didn’t even assist us in contacting the police to help us manage the chaos this situation caused. When we asked for assistance contacting airline as needed to change flights there was no care and was moaning the whole time.

The overall service was poor throughout our entire visit. The food was genuinely awful, and any requests for help were met with indifference.

This hotel clearly does not care about the safety or wellbeing of its guests. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone – we felt completely abandoned and unsafe. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

most staff were very lovely, the cleaner was a sweetheart, yet some staff could use a lesson in social skills and how to manage situations. the hotel is a 25 minute walk to the beach and has a free beach bus that has scheduled times to and from the beach/hotel. it is easier to take the bus as there is a dual carriageway between the hotel and the beach. there are many ramps as alternatives to stairs for disabled access.

The newly constructed Diagoras Hotel is located in a prime location with a superb view of the entire city and the beach of Faliraki. It is only about 1.5 km from the sandy beach and the city center. The bus stop for your traveling convenience, is only 3 minutes walk away. The buses travel to all destinations of the island, making very easy and affordable to do your own sightseeing!
The entire complex consists of four (4) different buildings, totaling 70 modern rooms, all with balconies and sea or pool view. In the main building that is located next to the swimming pool, you will find the Reception Desk, which is open 24 hours, a snack bar, restaurant, Satellite TV and various games. All rooms come with a small kitchenette, private bathroom with bathtub/shower and hair dryer for your convenience.
