This hotel has been a deeply disappointing experience. There are no basic amenities such as a phone, napkins, or proper shower towels. The staff shows little respect or willingness to take responsibility for anything. The Wi‑Fi barely works, the breakfast is very poor, and even the coffee cups are dirty.

The rooms don’t have enough blankets, there’s no temperature control so it’s either freezing or unbearably hot, and the staircase has no lighting. The elevator feels unsafe, and the doors don’t even have proper sensors. We truly feel that we wasted our money — it doesn’t meet the standards of what should be called a hotel.

Welcome to Hotel ALCATRAZ !

DO NOT STAY, BOOK or even consider looking at this hotel. It’s far more like a setting of a tropical prison !
Unless you want to be interrogated by the police and be made to feel unwelcome, linked with being stalked/ harassed by staff and management then don’t talk to anyone and make friends, and don’t complain! Yes it’s true ! The police got called on us for making complaints !

If you want to be spending your time near a toilet or sink due to an epidemic of food poisoning or having to pay over £100 for a Dr to give you some clean IV fluids to flush out the worst sickness and diarrhoea my family and I have had then please…sign yourself up.
Food is disgusting, cold, not cooked, no food labels, no children’s options, or allergy advice, you spend half your time running around to find clean cutlery, a plate, clean table and clean glasses.
Drinks are limited to watered down spirits of vodka, gin, whiskey if they don’t run out, served in 150-200mls juice glass that is dirty, re-washed in contaminated dirty water by hand and the straws are even re-used ! Who wants a shot of Beer? Yep a can of beer shared amongst guests poured into a 150mls juice cup.
One open bar for two combined hotels. No sky bar lounge open it’s more like a storage unit for broken items.
And one overpriced bar in reception that charges £15-£25 for a spirit/mixer with locked away icecream on sale and no bottled water available between 11pm and 0830.
Pool is dirty, very deep, unclean, cockroaches and insects floating around, with cats clenching their first and leaving surprises throughout the hotel. No “beds” as displayed in the photos, that is a mirage of what you actually see. Broken sunbeds, no cushions and slip your way around poolside like Bambi because it’s so slippery. Oh and the best yet pay a £20 deposit for your orange ripped pop towel per towel !
Expects to stay but come home with no money from being stolen from your room that has NO SAFE !
Be restrained to carry every single personal item on you in case you get robbed.
If you a critic for bad customer service then accompany yourself with the rude reception staff, untrustworthy management and rocky balboa excursion rep. Staff getting sacked on the spot in public eye for enjuring in guest/rep relationships.
Argument/fights happening between staff and reps less than a metre away from you and you get caught in the firing line.
And if you fancy living in a cell for your holiday, then make yourself at home with broken beds, dirty towels, no toilet roll or top up on toiletries, a shower in darkness, make friends with the ant infestation guarded by cockroaches swarming around your unclean room.
And when you get told you’re getting a pool view room, expect it to be inside your room when showers are blocked.  Oh wait and if you want to have a cold refreshing beverage during the night then you might aswell go to the pool and stick your head in it because your either have no fridge in your room or a fridge that doesnt work or unclean with a sticky brown liquid on arrival.
Make sure to make acquaintance with a “holiday maker” dr, nurse or first aider when visiting because getting any sort of medical help will lead you bleeding out on the floor or laying in a bathroom passed out, with no medic or ambulance service available in a timely manner. And be sure if you need to go hospital for stitches then your need the use of your own towels, bedding and wet wipes to try and stop the bleeding.

As you can tell this was the hotel from hell, the hotel staff need to be trained, the cleaners need to get sacked and as for the management I might aswell be speaking to the cats running around.
I honestly thought we were being pranked and some tv presenter were going to run out and say “you been framed.”

This was my first ever trip to Marrakesh and although I had a pleasant time, some things let the trip down drastically.
We arrived at the hotel and were told that we would need to wait several hours before we could enter the room.
The front reception staff (although not rude) wasn’t friendly in relaying the information of the hotel amenities and when we explained that we had paid for early check in, it was overlooked.

We had an amazing rep called Mehdi! He was so friendly, very accommodating and really made up for the not so pleasant welcoming we received.
I think we wouldn’t have had such a great time if it wasn’t for Mehdi. He really took care of us whilst we stayed.
He showed us all the excursions we could partake in. They were very affordable.
He also helped us when we had extra guests in our room! (Cockroaches) to be precise.

The all inclusive meals were very disappointing!
We didn’t enjoy one single meal, breakfast lunch and dinner! All a complete let down!
Nothing was marked or labelled so it was an ultimate guessing game.
There’s one bar that serves all inclusive drinks with not much of a selection and watered down alcohol.
The activities were nice, I can imagine my children having a nice time with the variety of games and stuff by the poolside . But I wouldn’t have been happy with them around the pool is the pool was very deep!
The rooms were nice and clean,
Unfortunately the cleaning staff kept taking the towels before we used them and took forever to bring them back! Very annoying after the first night! And didn’t improve til We left!
I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. And to be honest isn’t left a great taste in my mouth to revisit Marrakesh!

The rooms was not cold enough and not that clean but the Services and the foods was okay

Just came back about a week ago, the hotel was clean and towels changed every day we were all inclusive but found the swim up bar was not a swim up bar,  the vodka was watered down and they only did certain drinks, the snack bar was only opened from 5-6, the food was almost the same every night,and having to Que for certain foods aswell,I was constantly asking for glasses or spoons,
On a positive note tho Mehdi the holiday rep for love holidays, was very helpful in helping me sort a taxi for my husband, booking our evening excursion with a discount ( which we absolutely loved (quad bike, camel ride and evening dinner and entertainment) and also sorted out my boarding cards for when we were leaving, he was such a great help so thank you Mehdi

Scam alert. No hot water. This hotel was advertised to have a shuttle service. There was no shuttle. Amount paid was higher than the amount quoted. It’s hard to find a taxi willing to bring you to the hotel without charging you twice the fare.  There are no taxis to get you to the city or anywhere else. The pictured room at the time of booking has nothing to do with the actual room. Unfortunately it doesn’t end here 🤣. We booked a room facing the garden and got a room facing a dumpster. To top it off someone decided to burn a pile of trash right outside our balcony ( they started mid afternoon and kept going until next day). This included plastic bags. Breakfast mentioned included in the booking is non existent. I do not recommend!!
