Location is great, just by the beach, night life, tons of restaurants and Parque de la Paloma. Swimming pool is big. Hotel garden for quick walks. Grocery store in the hotel was very useful. Only thing is this hotel is a bit old and outdated snd rooms are small(we were all four together in a tiny room). Great value if you want good Location.

We stayed at this apartment complex for a week and had a very disappointing experience with Benal Beach Group specifically. Not with the Benal Beach complex itself. A €100 security deposit was taken, but only €65 was returned because there was a few small blood stains on one towel. These stains came from a small nick with a razor when shaving my head and then drying the area with said towel after showering.

Keeping €35 for a single towel seems completely disproportionate and unacceptable, especially when towels are items that are expected to be washed or, if necessary, replaced at a much lower cost than €35 per towel.

What made this even more frustrating was that we reported on the second day of our stay that the balcony door would not lock properly. This is a security issue, yet nothing was done about it for the remainder of our stay. We spent the entire week with a balcony door that couldn't be securely locked. It's disappointing that a genuine maintenance issue affecting guest safety was completely ignored, while Benal Beach Group was sneaky enough to deduct a significant amount from our deposit over one stained towel.

Benal Beach Group should really take a look at how they penalise guests and return deposits proportionally.

My relatives rented a flat in this place and lost electricity. The staff is refusing to help because each appartment is owned by separate people, so in case of issues like this, tenants are just left to contact the landlord. If for whatever reason the landlord doesn't answer, you're screwed. Your money has already been taken, of course. There were also issues when checking in because the staff didn't know the proper procedure... I'll be telling people to avoid this place.

Amazing place. Pools and outside area are fantastic. Nice snack bar and drinks! Good prices. Shop in complex. Opposite beach so perfect location

Avoid in February and March.

Reception staff clearly resent being here. The building is such a weird design and very much what I would call an eyesore (I did some hiking and other excursions and it was easy to pick out on the coastline). It’s really confusing to navigate and almost doubles as some kind of mini-mall with various businesses having set up shop inside - not something I have seen before, personally. The supermarket was good for staple foods, but way too much focus on junk food for me.

Rooms are being worked on during the quiet season (which is required), but you are unlikely to have decent enough weather to escape the constant hammering and drilling noises that start early in the morning until early evening. Not ideal if you have to work while you’re here.

There were also some crazy weather fronts moving through which resulted in plenty of rain and thunderstorms (not the hotel’s fault, of course), so when the sun finally came out I wanted to make use of the open pool and sun loungers.

Sadly, I came out and there was nowhere to sit (and I would have been happy on the ground on a towel but the grass was sodden). There were no visible members of staff. I didn’t know whether I was supposed to be here or not. At this time of year I understood there were maintenance works for those pools that were closed which is absolutely fine and understandable, but the haphazard layout and lack of signage just made things all the more confusing. Also, the claim that the pools are heated year-round is false - it was ambient at 17C so if you aren’t used to cold water dips, you’re not going to enjoy it.

The room itself was spotless on arrival, and due to my length of stay I made use of the cooking facilities several times a day. Bathroom facilities were clean and working, with my only complaint that there was no plug for the bath when I was craving one following a heavy day on the legs, but as there are often water issues in the area and it wasn’t an issue really. The bed was way too soft for me, leading to back pain because where you lay leaves a hole, so you can’t even try and sleep on the other side of the bed because you will simply be drawn back over by gravity. Storage was more than enough for a solid traveller and there was a safe in the room, too. There was also a washing machine which was ideal for me and the length of my stay, plus a cupboard of cleaning products to keep the apartment comfortable and clean. Aircon/heating units both worked well. WiFi was acceptable (sometimes dropped off but I imagine that they’re all centrally linked hubs and therefore are throttled).

The location was great for beach access, promenade access, and transport access.

This lovely hotel is located in Benalmádena, very close to Torremolinos, Spain. The airport is just about 15 minutes away from the complex. In the surroundings, there is a wide variety of shopping opportunities, entertainment venues, restaurants, bars and cafes. Guests will love to spend a nice and sunny day in the wonderful outdoor pool area, there they can rest and relax by the side of pool, have a refreshing swim or sunbathe while sipping from a delicious cocktail from the bar. The ones who like to maintain the shape are allowed to use the gym. The rooms have been nicely decorated with bright colours and wooden furniture. They are also equipped with all the essential amenities to have a pleasant and comfortable stay.
