I requested a refund for my last night well in advance, as an unexpected complication required me to leave earlier than planned. While I understand they were within their rights to decline, I believe that since I wasn’t going to make use of their service, it would have been a reasonable courtesy to accommodate my request.

The breakfast was quite bad quality in comparison with other hotels as well

Edit: Apparently this was a mistake. We had to sleep in this disgusting room for the first night nevertheless. Also the mirrors didn't get cleaned once, bathroom not properly cleaned except for first day and floors. Shower is made for children I guess because I can barely fit in and I am not overweight. Floor strip came off by opening the door, had to fix that too. Breakfast is average at best, I'm only eating oats which are fine. They don't even have fried eggs smh.
Only positive thing is they change towels and bed spread daily and wipe the floors as well. Also the location is very good.
All in all not recommended, not coming again. (Town and beaches are beautiful don't get me wrong)

This is a complicated review.  The location is absolutely amazing.  Great shopping, restaurants, night life, beaches and historical sites all within easy walking distance.   The price is very affordable.  The service staff was exceptional, very friendly, multilingual and really helpful.  The pool is usually quiet and located in a shaded area so the water is cool and very refreshing. The breakfasts were decent and they offered a good variety that wasn't the same each day. The rooms were very clean and cared for.  We always arrived back to a clean room.  Often, with our kids' stuffed animals posed adorably at the edge of the bed.   The water pressure was always great and the water was always hot....

But, the rooms are a bit dated and many of the pluses of their location come with a few negatives.   While the hotel is close to the night life, that also means that the occasional intoxicated partier will stumble down the street singing loudly at all hours.   Also, due to the distance from the airport, some guests have very early transport pickup times.   For example, our bus arrived at 4:30am.   We did our best to stay as quiet as possible, but one can definitely hear people moving about in the hallways during the early hours.  While this is not the fault of the hotel, it might make the stay a bit more difficult for light sleepers.  One other issue is that everything that gets wet, stays wet because you're on a humid island.  We discovered that:  Shower as early as possible and as cool as possible, buy some rope from a local store and hang dry everything on the balcony when it's not raining, air out the room during the day but keep the windows (especially the bathroom window) closed tight at night to keep the noise down and communicate with the staff whenever you have needs.

But putting aside the negatives, the huge positive is the pride the staff has in everything that they do.  Yes, the building is older and it can get a bit noisy at times, but the staff truly cares about providing the best experience possible.  For that reason alone, we would definitely return again.

How in the world is this rated a 3* hotel? More like a hostel. Know at least two hostel here in Cala Rajada that has better standards. Terrible. Everything. Party all night as well, loudly so we didn't sleep at all almost. And wait for it, they charge 3 euros for use the mini fridge is the room (you need to go to the reception to get a cable and plug it in yourself).
Don't expect a 3* hotel.
