We were very disappointed with our stay at Be Smart Florida Plaza. The beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms were noisy—balcony doors had gaps and offered no soundproofing, and the toilet and fridge noises were disruptive. Cleanliness was poor, around 2 out of 5 stars. The kitchen was minimally equipped, with no kettle, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil, or dishwashing supplies. Cups and glasses were old and outdated. I cannot understand, now 1 cup costs 1 eur- why you cannot change them? There was no hairdryer in the room, though one could be requested at reception. Additionally, the socket by the bed only worked when the lamp was on, and our neighbors reported that using the stovetop caused their lights to go out. We did not expect luxury at this price, but the hotel showed very little care for guest comfort.

Firstly, the hotel does not look like on the pictures. Rooms are quite old,very basic, they smell quite weird too, not perfectly clean. We were very upset on our first night, but we stayed here for a week and if you use your room only to sleep and maybe make a quick breakfast it’s alright. Service was really good and the location is great.

We stayed at the Florida Plaza Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz for four nights. While the hotel could benefit from some modern updates, it was still a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the historical town and close to three different beaches, with plenty of shops, clubs, pubs, restaurants, and cafes within easy walking distance, making it perfect for exploring Puerto de la Cruz. The hotel features a small but cozy rooftop pool with a lovely view over the town. Although the hotel offers breakfasts and dinners, we chose to dine out every day to enjoy the local cuisine. One downside was the lack of air conditioning, which felt unusual for a hot country like Tenerife; however, you can request a fan in your room by leaving a deposit. If you book a transfer from the airport, keep in mind that the hotel is located on a pedestrian walking street where coaches cannot access, so you’ll need to walk about two minutes to reach the hotel — especially important to know if you arrive at night. We know it’s not a luxury 5-star hotel, but you get what you pay for, and overall, it offers good value for money. With a few updates, it could be even better.

It is what it says on the tin. its not luxurious, its old fashioned, but clean and the food is basic serve yourself. BUT for the price it is an excellent budget hotel

Nice budget apartments at excellent location. Staff are welcoming and nothing is too much of an ask. The kitchen doesn't have much equipment in it but I doubt anyone is planning to cook a roast dinner whilst on holiday. The only thing that could do with an update are the mattresses but as there was a sofa bed we made do with that. I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks to all the staff for a great holiday!!!

Great location.  Rooms needed updated. No kettle or toaster or microwave. Cutlery only 1 of each for 2 people 1 pot and small frying pan for cooking. No washing up liquid or srubber for dishes no salt and pepper. Freezer frozen over no door on small compartment. Kettle was €20 which was refunded at end. Pool only opens at 10am-6pm locked the rest of time no access. I have been to other self catering which was basic but this wasn't even basic.  Staff very helpful and accommodating. Location is perfect 👌 apart from pub across from it which can get very noisy with the locals.  Cheap last minute underwhelming  really need some input we also had a small balcony which we paid extra form but terrified to lean on it for fear of it collapsing

A short walk from the hotel, guests will find the old town, with its large pedestrian area and countless shops, and further entertainment venues. The hotel is very close to Plaza del Charco and 600 m from Playa Jardin, one of the best beaches in the North of Tenerife. The typical Canarian construction and great location guarantee a charming and relaxing holiday.At the heart of old town of Puerto de la Cruz.<br/>
