Enjoyed our stay here!
All the staff we had contact with were really friendly. We arrived just before midnight and checking in was quick and easy, and then the receptionist informed us of their food for after hours check in guests, which was a little buffet of snack foods - nice surprise.
The rooms were clean and spacious. However my room was advertised as '3 beds' and one was just a sofa pull out. Housekeeping was very helpful with requests of extra towels and linen. Balcony view of the pool was quite nice.
The room was a little bit stuffy and there was no air conditioning that we could locate, and unfortunately reception said they had no fans that they could provide.
The breakfast buffet that we had included in our booking was quite good and I really liked that it varied in choice from day to day.
Location was great! Only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and access to plenty of shops and restaurants.
We came in for a birthday celebration and were left a note in the room for a free bottle of sparkling wine, which was a nice touch from the business!
Would definitely come back here and would recommend for friends and family

We payed for Sea Views and at the beginning were disappointed but after a day, realised we had a lucky escape. Smoking is allowed in all outdoor spaces including balconies!! I didn't realise that people are still stupid enough to smoke as 1 in 2 die a horrible death from Cancer. For some reason this hotel attracts smokers. If you want to use the main pool area you can't as there are smokers all over, same with the bar, all outdoor spaces are taken with smokers. We had to abandon our balcony a few times due to smokers. Heaven knows what it was like on the balconies in the main hotel as the smoke wafts up. Reminded me of the 1980s. The Chico part of the hotel is old but has a charm. The balconies are dirty and falling to bits with lots of cracks, the lift is lethal as my girlfriend got her arm trapped in the door and came up in a big bruise. The mattress on the bed was collapsed and we were glad to get home to have some sleep. You only get one pillow so you have to lay flat and there are no hooks in the bathroom! When you have a shower you have to put a towel on the floor to stop the bathroom from flooding. The food is variable. The main course food was often not good unless the lady chef was cooking. Several times I had to fill up on vegetables but the sweet course was often fantastic apart from cold rice pudding? I know there were many nationalities. I did enjoy the pancakes we had but unfortunately that was one morning. All of the staff from the waiting staff/ cleaners/ Receptionists were brilliant all except for the women with the short hair in the bar. But the staff made the hotel for us. The position of the hotel is great in a relatively quiet area but close to a large beach and a nice small cove. Plus it was easy to get a bus and they were cheapish and very efficient compared to the UK. Would I go back? It's a pity but, no, the smell of the smokers is just too much.

We had great stay at hotel Bahia del Sol, rooms were spacious with nice view, big balcony. Room service every day. Food was tasty, good selection. Hotel was fully booked, but didn't feel crowded at all. Short walking distance to public transport, beach, shops and restaurants. Kids loved it. Felt very safe there. Staff was very friendly.

Really friendly staff and hardworking - we are guessing the manager was there daily but he didn't really say anything to us or the guests, but he was working just as hard.
The food was pretty good overall, but did get a bit repetitive.
The Sky bar wasn't open and there was an extra outdoor pool that we found just by looking at the website when we were there - there weren't signs for it throughout the hotel or in the lift, no welcome pack and reception didn't tell us, but I do think guests should be made aware of all the great facilities - we were thrilled and it was a great sun trap in the afternoon.
The outdoor terrace I believe was on level 3, but again there were no signs for it, we just found it when we went exploring around the hotel one evening.
We loved the cocktail bar in the evening and really reasonably priced, some great evening entertainment too, not every night and the hotel could be more informative of when the entertainment starts - those that had an early dinner will probably take themselves to their bedrooms because they think there's no entertainment after all, but I think it was great it started at 8.30pm as some hotels we've stayed at it hasn't started until 9 maybe even 10pm.
Really close to shops, restaurants and bars, also beach and nearby buses to Palma etc.
Probably only slight negative was the showers in the room weren't watertight, the water spills out the shower and into the bedroom, so a bath mat doesn't really do the job, we had to use a lot of towels to wipe/absorb the water.

We’ve been really impressed with our stay so far. The hospitality has been wonderful and the food excellent. A special thanks to the reception team — when we had trouble sleeping due to some noise outside/nearby, they were incredibly friendly and understanding. Even though the hotel was fully booked, they went out of their way to find us a different room quickly, which made a huge difference. Their support was fast, helpful, and much appreciated. We still have a few days left here, but we’re already very happy with our experience. Highly recommend!
