Things To Keep In Mind

Lovely hotel in a great location for a really relaxing holiday. It’s fairly isolated which we loved for our weeks long stay as it really allowed us to relax.
3 stars because while it’s a lovely hotel, it attracts A-LOT of weddings + wedding guests with about 1 day/night turnover. This sadly meant, because our room was on the ground floor it was extremely noisy!! They should prioritise guests who have longer stays to stay in quieter areas e.g., top floor to avoid the noise and excitement of the weddings. While we did complain about this, nothing was offered to us to resolve the situation so disappointed with the customer services too.
Breakfasts were ok, the hot meal was nice but continental buffet could be improved.
The restaurant food was excellent and staff was mostly great, some restaurant staff got friendlier with us as the week progressed and they realised we weren’t there for just one day/night, which again was slightly disappointing, the service should be equal regardless.

This hotel is a home from home, its a wonderful place to stay and from arriving to leaving you will be looked after so well by their amazing staff. The pool area, gardens and grounds and reception area, restaurant and bedrooms are decorated so well, every area is a photo opportunity! In all departments they are very professional and friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they are always happy to help out. I plan events with them every year and the level of service they offer is 10/10. They not only look after the bride and groom so well but also their guests, myself and the suppliers on the wedding day. They are so attentive and really want the best for everyone. The food is amazing, consistent in presentation, flavour. The waiters and Maitre D are super efficient and friendly. Reception is always there to greet us with a smile and always at hand to help us out with extra requests. Lastly the events team are the best! They understand that every detail, big or small is very important to me, to the couple and take note of everything and are a great help to us on the day to ensure all goes smoothly. Looking forward to another wedding season with them next year and beyond!

The location of this hotel is amazing, the views, both day and sunset are awesome. The staff is kind, helpful and they soon feel like an extended family.
To reach the (salt water) pool area you have to cross the nice garden so you can easily relax and enjoy the views as well. An honesty bar and bathrooms are there to make the most of you leisure time without having to go to the main building. Dinner is a la carte and prices are pretty much to European standards.
Now for the ephant in the room. Or in our case rooms. Our first room had just been cleaned but the smell was really disgusting and this was caused by 'dirt' in the sewage pipes. The lady at the desk immediately acted and offered us another room. It just stunned me that the housekeeping didn't report this. In our next room on the surface all was fine but at the first night I nearly fell to the floor with bed and all. One of the beds legs was broken and it had been for a while as the floor tile was heavily scratched. Also a lot of clogged dust in the vents, a shower that jumped off, the shower cabin leaking and flooding the floor, an electrical problem and coffee cups, water and glasses/mugs were sometimes not replaced/filled/cleaned.
So how much I like this hotel, it's location and it's staff. The rooms are in dire need of maintenance to make this hotel from great to amazing again.

We chose the Cortijo Bravo as our wedding venue on the 22nd April, and it was absolutely incredible!  All the staff, went above and beyond and we are so happy to have chosen the Cortijo Bravo as our wedding venue. Specifically the waiting staff,  bar man and chefs were great.  Everyone was so friendly and helpful on the day.

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. Our friends and family have said it is the best wedding food they have ever tasted, particularly the tapas starter and the vegetarian option. Given this was an international wedding we were keen to have tapas and the venue delivered the tastiest tapas I have ever had! Not only that, but 1/4 of our attendees were vegetarian including myself and the Cortijo Bravo made a very special main dish which was oyster mushrooms. This was the best meal  I have ever tasted (it tasted like steak) and still dream about these!

We had the best day of our lives because of everyone at the Cortijo Bravo. So a massive thank you! It is a stunning location.

My husband and I got married at the Cortijo Bravo on 2nd July 2025.  We could not recommend it enough as a wedding venue and also as a place to stay! We had an amazing experience there from start to finish - the rooms were beautifully furnished and impeccably clean and the grounds of the hotel were absolutely gorgeous.  The wedding venue part of the hotel is separate from where the rooms/restaurant are and therefore your wedding experience is very private and also the general guests staying at the hotel are not disrupted by weddings that are taking place.  The staff all across the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful!  We especially appreciated Paula at reception and the bar staff during our wedding - they could not do enough for us to make our wedding and experience at the Cortijo Bravo amazing.   We stayed at the hotel the night of the wedding and so did some of our guests and we loved everything about the stay, especially the breakfast and the beautiful scenery and pool!  The Cortijo Bravo deserved 5+++ stars!!!

Absolutely wonderful stay!
We spent three amazing days and four peaceful nights at Cortijo Bravo for a wedding. Although weddings happen here almost daily, the ceremony areas are away from the main buildings, so everything was quiet and relaxing.
The staff was outstanding — special thanks to Jennifer, Alberto, Mar, and Vaitiare for their kindness and professionalism. Everyone made us feel truly welcome.
The food was fantastic — not only the breakfasts but also lunch and dinner at the restaurant were delicious and beautifully served.
Highly recommend this hotel for both events and peaceful vacations. We’ll definitely come back!
