It’s a quick and easy journey from Paphos International Airport to Avanti Hotel, situated at a distance of only 16km. The main public beach is a short 150-meter jaunt. Being located on Poseidonos road also gives you easy access to the public bus system, however, your hotel will be more than happy to arrange travel for you. You couldn’t be any closer to an excellent assortment of restaurants located right along the main drag serving both international and local cuisine. Shopping can be had at Aliathon or a quick taxi ride can take you to the larger Kings Avenue Mall for all your retail needs. Family fun can be found at the two Waterparks, Paphos and Luna both less than a mile away.
Avanti Hotel consists of 243 guest rooms in total all which have undergone recent renovation in 2017. These are typically twin rooms, accommodating 4 guests, either 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children as well as a cot for infants under 2 years of age. All rooms feature a balcony with options including views over the Mediterranean Sea, poolside and inland. They all come well furnished with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and heating, tea and coffee making facilities, T.V. and wi-fi. Avanti also caters well for disabled guests with fully accessible rooms and facilities.
Food and Drink
The main restaurant at Avanti, Alcyon Days, serves both local Cypriot and Greek cuisine as well as international dishes. They also have themed food nights. Be sure to grab breakfast at the on-site Danae Gardens Restaurant which overlooks the lagoon pool and sub-tropical gardens. At Avanti Hotel, you’ll also find a cocktail bar open until late and a ‘swim-up’ pool bar. Outside of the hotel, you can take your pick from a variety of restaurants catering to tastes from around the world located right along Poseidonos road. Bars and grills are plentiful too, for instance, a short walk towards the beach will take you to Suite48 Grill and Lounge Bar, serving great cocktails and snacks whilst overlooking the Mediterranean.
Sports, Games and Entertainment
At Avanti Hotel you’ll easily be able to find something for all the family. There are no less than three floodlit tennis courts, so you can play late into the night, bowling greens, squash and volleyball courts and you can also take up archery and water polo. If you want to explore outside the hotel then hire a mountain bike and check out all Paphos has to offer. After all that activity you’ll probably want some downtime, whether that’s taking a relaxing dip in one of the two pools, going for some aromatherapy or a massage or just sunning it up on the terrace, Avanti Hotel has you covered. Family fun can be had at the Paphos Karting Centre and miniature golf course, situated just behind Avanti Hotel as well as at the two nearby waterparks. If you want to take in a slice of Paphos rich history then the Tombs of the Kings and the Archaeological Park are great places to start.
