I stayed here for a week with my family in November and we had the best time. The hotel has a heated pool so it’s not too cold to swim, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and always happy to help in any way they can. The manager Bekir took a lot of time to speak to us and get to know us and was amazing, as well as Ilker Can who was our waiter most nights. He was always looking for anything he could do to make us more comfortable and it made our experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a very good location. Would love to come back!

Truly lovely hotel. We arrived around 22:30, were shown to our room and then shown where we could eat.
There was a buffet that had more food than we imagined at that time of night. It was fantastic.
The staff, especially Ilker Can, were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
There were cats everywhere and they were so healthy and friendly.
Everywhere was so clean and tidy we didn't have to worry about anything.
Looking forward to coming back!

Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room was upgraded to a deluxe seaview, this was brilliant, very clean, mini bar was topped up each day, toiletries very nice, bed very comfortable.

We ate at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Great choice at breakfast. Dinner we ate from the outside grill, lots of different meats each night, really good.

Lunch we visited the beach bar each day for the delicious Gozleme, very tasty, drinks very good and lovely ambience.

Drinks in general were very good. I was not drinking on this holiday, stuck to water, requested a glass with ice each time, this was forgotten most times. Wife enjoyed the rose and white wine, she said the sparkling wine was very sweet.

Lots of entertainment and lots to do, if this is your thing.

Sun beds, our European cousins were out early each morning getting prime spots, you have to get up early to beat them at their own game. Hotel could do more to police this.

Location is brilliant, leisurely 40 minute walk to old town.

Managers constantly around, checking with guests that they were enjoying their stay.

Hotel grounds are very well kept.

Our first visit to Turkey, would definitely return and it would be to Arum Barut!

Overall really excellent. I don’t know what to improve. We stayed there as a family in October. It was still 25C, so very pleasant.
- the service was outstanding!
- the food was delicious and a large variety.
- I also like the sport activities, Especially the fit board course.

We have just returned from a 12-night stay at the Arum Barut Collection in Side. Just when you thought it could not get any better, they take the welcome and hospitality to another level.
When you arrive you always get a welcome as warm as the Turkish sun from the hotel reception team no matter what time of the day.
My husband had arranged with Tamara in Guest Relations to decorate our bedroom as a surprise welcome for our recent 30th wedding anniversary and the room looked stunning. Thank you, Tamara, for all your hard work, it was a great surprise.
This is our fifth visit in the last two years, and it was that warm welcome from Amber when we arrived late at night back in October 2023 that just made us feel welcome to the hotel.
Would you believe you can still get a wide selection of hot food, should you like to eat, at midnight from the main restaurant.
The hotel is 5* and you can see why. The staff are friendly and attentive, there to help should you require and not pushy.
Emre Erdem and his team should be immensely proud of the welcome and ambiance that they create especially Bayram, Amber, Ibrahim and Erdogan who we met during our stay.
Should things not go to plan Murat, Tamara, Malena and Irina on Guest Relations will always be willing to help any way they can.
The hotel grounds are well laid out and always well maintained and clean. The cleaners for the rooms work extremely hard to keep the rooms spotless and add special touches to make you feel extra special. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean.
Even when the hotel is full the grounds never seem crowded.
The swimming pool features walk in sections, and the deepest part of the pool is 1.4m
On the beach there is a private area and a jetty for hotel guests with sun loungers and parasols.
There is a choice of restaurants with a wide variety of hot and cold food all through the day and evening. Thank you Emre (the waiter) for your superb service each evening greeting us with a big smile and showing us to a table. Thank you Bekir, the Food and Beverage Manager, for allowing us to eat earlier so we had something to eat before our journey home.
The entertainment team are not pushy, but there with organised activities during the day. Sometimes some activities are scheduled at the same time but apart from making a choice it is all good fun and a good atmosphere. Volkan, Azamat, Assel always have such enthusiasm for the sports they are supervising which makes it even more enjoyable.
If you have young children, there is a Kids Club which offers activities and entertainment enthusiastically led by Rabia.
In the evening there are two types of entertainment with shows at the amphitheatre stage ranging from dancers, acrobats and magicians whilst at the pool bar stage they have live music with a variety of music during the week. Our favourite show is the spectacular water fountain and laser show to a backdrop of up-tempo music which is always well attended.
Thank you Serkan for your service at the pool bar whilst we watched the shows, you always remember which drinks we like.
In the evening, the entertainment team mingle with the guests and in conversation ask for feedback on the entertainment and our thoughts.
I must say Volkan always comes across as genuinely pleasant. He speaks particularly good English and German and in our humble opinion he has the right attributes to be very good in Guest Relations communicating well with people and is a great asset to your hotel. He has always made our holidays extra special by finding time to involve us in activities or to have a chat whenever he sees us.
We would say that the staff, throughout the hotel, are so friendly and welcoming. If some staff do not speak fluent English, they smile and try and help. This is very much a positive USP for the hotel.
In the past we have never revisited a hotel, but my wife feels comfortable here with the food, cleanliness and the amazing staff who have become our friends.
Already thinking of returning next September, just keep doing what you are doing and making your hotel our special place.

Final day of what has been a wonderful week.
Weather on arrival was initially a bit unsettled, but this allowed us to make use of the spa facilities which were excellent.
All the Staff are super polite and friendly and the cleaners keep "everything" spotlessly clean.
Food is next level in our experience (first time 5 ⭐), with different dishes every mealtime and so much choice. We had the option to use one of the 'a la carte' restaurants but didn't feel the need to indulge ourselves as the selection was so comprehensive in the main restaurant (palmiye).
The Flora patisserie is also a nice touch which is open between 12:00 and 18:30.
We only visited 3 of the 5 bars with the Begonya beach club being our favourite place to catch a cocktail whilst watching the sunset. Staff in all the bars we visited were again excellent.
You have the option to walk along the promenade (about 35 minutes) to indulge yourself in some shopping (if that's your thing).
Sunbed reservation is discouraged before 7:30am which gives you a fighting chance, although we never struggled getting beds at 9am.
Checkout is midday and there is a courtesy room available for a last minute shower and change of clothes before your return journey.

Had a wonderful holiday in July with my family. We stayed for two weeks.
The rooms are lovely and have everything you need. Every morning Hüyla made the best pancakes and fried eggs. Thanks to Umut, Ali Kemal and Ferhat for great service in the bar, they can make everything you desire. Thanks to Bekir, he is always checking on you, asking if there is anything he can do.
