Very nice hotel. Food is okay for what we have experienced in Egypt. The restaurants are better. The staff is really friendly, a number of waiters were really friendly to our kids. We were there during new year and they did an amazing job creating a wonderfull party.

Something that could be better: the smell in the bar. I dont know what it is but it smells horrible. It is quit clean, but pls remove the carpet as it is full of stains.

Amarina Abu Soma Resort. From start to finish, the whole experience was superb. The staff were consistently excellent, extremely polite, very helpful, knowledgeable and great with communication. The hotel is modern, absolutely spotless and very well maintained. The gardens are beautiful, and you constantly see the gardening and maintenance teams keeping everything in perfect condition.

The swimming pools are huge, clean, quiet and really lovely. The waterpark with 5 slides, was brilliant fun for both adults and children, safe, well-organised and a great added bonus. The entertainment was also very good for an all-inclusive hotel. The animation team were friendly, fun and great with kids.

The restaurants were all excellent. The buffet food was high quality with plenty of variety, always fresh and very well presented. There are also four à la carte restaurants you can book, and all of them were very nice so you don’t have to eat from the buffet every night. We also appreciated the free scuba diving trial session available at the pool.

One member of staff who truly made our stay special was Mohammed, the Assistant Front of House Manager. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. Due to a small issue with our original room (due to hotel maintenance I believe), he upgraded us to two beautiful family rooms right next to each other, both with stunning sea and pool views. It was my daughter’s birthday during the stay and he arranged a lovely room setup for her, which meant a lot. His kindness and professionalism made a huge difference to our experience and he is an outstanding representative for the hotel.

All of the washroom facilities and public toilets around the hotel were always extremely clean. There is a small on-site shopping area which was convenient, and the beach area was very nice too. Although it was quite busy at times, it didn’t affect the experience. The roped-off swimming zone felt very safe and the sea water was beautifully clear.

Our upgraded family rooms were gorgeous – spacious, modern and with amazing views. We were genuinely impressed. I also took plenty of photos to help future guests see how lovely everything is.

Overall, this is a brilliant all-inclusive resort with exceptional staff, excellent facilities and genuine attention to detail. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, modern, well-run hotel with great food and great service.

I stayed for 4–5 days. Honestly, the room design is quite good. The balcony is spacious enough to enjoy a book, have coffee, or just relax.

The food, however, is not great. There isn’t much variety, and only a few options are really edible. If you’re not expecting anything above average, this place might still work for you.

What I really disliked was the Wi-Fi. It doesn’t matter where you are in the hotel—the speed is extremely low. Even if you’re lucky enough to get a stable connection, this is the maximum speed you can expect, which is not enough to watch a series episode or follow your favorite team.

That said, the staff are genuinely kind and very helpful. You can clearly see they try their best to assist guests. Unfortunately, the main issues seem to be more related to management decisions rather than the employees themselves.

I also wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re not planning to leave business or work matters behind during your stay, because you won’t be able to properly check emails or attend online meetings.

We chose Amarina Abu Soma Resort & Aquapark for our honeymoon, and it was an excellent decision. The hospitality was exceptional, with staff who were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.  Special thanks to the organizer, Mr. Abdel Rahim, whose professionalism and care made our stay seamless, and to the restaurant team, particularly the bespectacled person responsible for presenting meals, Mr. Mahmoud—the food quality and service were outstanding throughout our stay, also the bartender  Adam. We truly felt valued as guests, and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family, and to anyone seeking a memorable, well-hosted experience.

From the moment we stepped into the resort, we felt not just welcomed, but cared for. Ahmed, the hotel manager, is the heart of this place always present, always making sure every guest is happy. His professionalism, kindness, and personal attention made everything perfect for our family.

Muhamed at reception was the first to greet us with a warm smile and took care of every little detail with such patience and care. And Elrahim what an amazing person! He made us feel like VIP guests every single day, always checking in to see if everything was perfect.

The housekeeping team deserves a huge thank-you ,our room was spotless and fresh every day, like walking into a brand new space. The beach staff made every moment by the sea relaxing and joyful, always ready with towels, drinks, and even a friendly chat that brightened our day.

What made this trip so unforgettable was the feeling that everyone truly cared. This was more than a holiday ,it was a perfect experience, created by a team of people who love what they do.

From the very first moment, I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. He was always helpful, attentive, and genuinely keen to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

I would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Sherif, the Hotel Director, for his continuous care and his consistent follow-up to ensure my satisfaction. His presence and attention to guest comfort truly reflect a high level of professionalism and commitment.

We stayed for a week and honestly loved it!

Great hotel for the price. Everything was super clean, the rooms, the resort, even the pools. There were so many fun activities for both kids and adults.
The food was tasty. Breakfast wasn’t very varied, but everything else was delicious. We also tried the Italian restaurant in the resort and really enjoyed it.
The beach is gorgeous, with soft sand, and you can go snorkeling right there. We saw some colorful fish, such a beautiful experience.

The only small downside is that it’s a bit far from the airport, but with everything the resort offers, it’s totally worth it.

We left with amazing memories and will definitely come back! 🤍
