We had a wonderful stay at Amarina Abu Soma. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and located right on a lovely beach with crystal-clear water. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.

The food was fresh and varied, with plenty of options for every taste. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cleaned every day to a high standard. The pools, entertainment, and overall atmosphere made our vacation relaxing and enjoyable.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable holiday in Egypt. Thank you to the entire Amarina Abu Soma team for making our stay so memorable. We hope to come back soon!

We travelled from Canada, and have stayed at 16 Caribbean all-inclusive resorts, and the Amarina is a stand out. The property is beautifully maintained to a very high standard. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, there are shops within walking distance and the beach area is wonderful. We very much enjoyed the food -Chopsticks was a standout -and the buffet was also very good-the Pastry Chef’s team are stars-best bread and sweet treats ever! Our room was spacious and comfortable, the linens were high quality. A highlight for us was the beautiful belly dancer. Special thanks to Amr for the great service on the beach and to Mostafa, our server in the buffet. I’m back at home daydreaming of the incredible shawarma beachside

We had a very pleasant stay at Amarina Abu Soma Resort & Aquapark.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable. They were not particularly luxurious, but everything we needed was there and nothing important was missing.

The staff was excellent throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. The only small issue was that during busy meal times, the restaurant staff sometimes struggled to replenish cutlery on the tables quickly enough.

The entertainment team did a great job. Most of the children’s programs were in French and German, but adults could easily join in as well, which created a fun atmosphere for everyone.

The pools were great, and the beach is only a very short walk away, making it easy to enjoy both throughout the day.

The spa was also a pleasant surprise. The facilities and treatments exceeded our expectations and added to the overall relaxing experience.

Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily recommend this resort to families and couples looking for a relaxing stay by the Red Sea.

The service was excellent very friendly, helpful and truly of a high standard. The rooms were always clean. Our only complaint concerns the entertainment team. We always enjoy taking part in the activities but at this hotel we weren’t able to because no one informed us about them. On top of that one of the animators from Germany walked past us several times without even saying hello. She seemed as though she was working there against her will. We know she was from Germany because she spoke to German guests in their language. Apart from that everything was great. The food was also excellent with a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

To start, the staff here are excellent. Truly lovely people, and I was very appreciative of all their care and help throughout my stay.

The room was nice, although I would not personally describe it as 5-star. We paid extra for a deluxe room, but the bathtub was disappointing and not really worth the upgrade. I was unable to get hot water from it, and at one point an air vent fell out of the wall. To the hotel's credit, this was fixed immediately when reported.

Some of the food was enjoyable, but overall I found it quite inconsistent. Each evening there were a few dishes I liked and a quite a few that were not particularly good. I do appreciate that most of the guests at this hotel are not British, whereas we are, so some of this may simply come down to different tastes and expectations.

One issue I did have was with the "all-inclusive" offering. There were quite a few things that required an additional payment. For example, someone walks around at breakfast offering fresh orange juice, but this comes at an extra cost. There were also various food and drink options that were not included, which meant the experience did not feel as all-inclusive as we had expected.

Another downside was the number of people approaching guests to sell products, excursions and services around the resort. While I understand this is common in some destinations, it became quite frequent and made it difficult to fully relax.

Finally, I became very ill with a stomach bug on my last night. I would like to compliment the on-site medical team, who were excellent, as well as the hotel staff who helped look after me. However, the following morning, while I was still recovering and feeling unwell, I was asked to sign a form relating to the incident. Although I was feeling somewhat better than the day before, I do not believe I was in the best condition to properly consider what I was signing. I would simply advise other guests to read any such documents carefully and only sign them when they feel fully well enough to do so.

Overall, there were definitely positives to this hotel, particularly the staff, but there were also several aspects of the experience that fell short of expectations.
