We had such a great experience at this hotel! It has the most amazing location, 8 min walk and you’re at the edge of the water then 5 min walk the other way you’re at the Hadrian gate! I don’t even know if it took even that long but it was so convenient, with shops, convenient markets and restaurants all along the way!

It poured really hard while we were here and there was a roof leak (we’re on the top floor) and when we told them about the issue, they changed our rooms and offered help without hesitation, to make things even more convenient, they switched us to a room next door to our original one and told us no rush on moving rooms!

We loved it here, rooms were huge, location was great and staff was amazing! Highly recommend!

It is in a great location in Old Town.  Minutes walk from the marina and plenty of shops nearby.  It is an old building converted into a hotel. There are rooms in the hotel and in an annex across.  We were in the annex.  All the annex rooms are like little apartments. With a living room area, bedroom area, ensuite and kitchen area.  There was a two hob cooker but no pots, plates or cutlery.  Nice clean rooms and some do have their own outdoor seating or balconies.  There was a problem with our first room.  There was a pipe next to the bed that took water from all the rooms above. It was very loud and I could not put up with it for the whole week. They offered us another room and even showed us around a few different rooms so that we could choose which one we wanted. Not sure what would have happened if they were fully booked. A thunder storm took the Internet out for three days. Not the hotels fault I know, but inconvenience non the less. The Riviera restraint across the lane is part of the hotel and all guests get 10% discount.  Food was good and varied menu. There was a family of cats that like to join you for breakfast and dinner. This one we called cheeky face. He likes to have his own chair at your table.  That way you can't ignore him while you eat.

Have just come back from a lovely stay, for a week, in November.
I have stayed here before, and glad to report that it's still great. Staff are attentive and try to help where they can, especially the reception staff. Breakfast is large buffet with lots of choice. We woke up early, so it wasn't busy, but once when I walked pass later around 8.30 is was much busier.
The rooms are hit and miss, with some better than others. We got a decent room, were the only issue was that it got a lot of sun during the day and got quite warm. Luckily the aircon worked well.

We had a pleasant 3 day stay at Alp Pasa which is ideally situated right in the centre of the old town. This makes it very atmospheric but also a little noisy with sounds travelling especially at night.
Our room was comfortable but some things like plumbing need a little attention. There was a leak from the bath across the floor, the sink tap soaked you unless you put it on very carefully and the shower randomly got an air lock and stopped working.
The breakfast for us was spoiled because it was so hard to find a table and there were always queues for things like coffee. It felt like they needed more staff. We were particularly irritated to be told that if we wanted decaf coffee we would have to pay for it because it had to come from a different place. The rooms had a hot plate but no kettle which was a little odd.
The reception staff were lovely and very welcoming and the aesthetic of the building is gorgeous. Be aware though that the call to prayer at 6:25am is very loud.

Excellent location, although be ware that at night it can get a bit noisy as there are bars and lively night life, if you’re looking for relaxation and quiet, this may not be the place for you . You’re located in the center of town so it’s easy to get around to restaurants and views of the town. Hospitality is excellent, Diana generously provided us with an upgrade, so we had a ton more room! Breakfast was included and was buffet style with lots of delicious options. Definitely come here if it’s your first time in Antalya!

Never Again (Good staff, terrible experience overall)

I booked 4 days and 3 nights at Alp Pasa Hotel, and honestly, it turned into one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I want to start by saying the hotel staff were polite and tried their best to help in many situations, but the hotel itself is extremely poorly managed and not suitable for a comfortable stay.

+ No kettle / no proper hot water solution

The first thing I noticed was that there was no hot water kettle in the room. When I requested one, I was told that the entire hotel does not have any kettles at all, which is shocking for a hotel charging tourists.

The weather was extremely cold, and since I have asthma, having warm water was important for me. Their “solution” was ridiculous: they told me to go down through a maze of stairs (the hotel layout is confusing with lots of ups and downs) to the restaurant opposite the hotel and ask for warm water. The restaurant staff gave me two glasses and told me to return them afterward like I was borrowing equipment from a neighbor, not staying at a hotel.

Later, the hotel staff began bringing warm water themselves, but the water looked dirty—like drain water. I had no choice but to throw it away and live without warm water for the rest of my stay.

+ Water leaking from ceiling at 1AM

On the third night, while we were sleeping, heavy water started leaking from the ceiling onto my wife’s head. She woke up, and we realized the entire bed was soaked.

It was 1AM, and I had an early flight, needing to leave by 5AM. The staff offered to change our room and moved us one floor below, but I had to carry all four luggages myself, plus everything that got wet due to leakage (even the toilet area had issues).

Switching rooms in the middle of the night, exhausted and stressed, was unacceptable.

+ No taxi assistance / impossible location access

Before leaving, I asked the reception for help booking a taxi. After “trying,” they basically gave up and told me to book my own cab.

The worst part is: cars cannot even reach the hotel properly because the gates are closed until around 8AM. So in heavy rain, I had to drag four suitcases and run 15 minutes downhill to reach the taxi that was waiting outside.
Completely unacceptable for guests with luggage, families, or anyone with health conditions.

+ Rooms smell horrible and don’t match photos

Lastly, the rooms were very smelly and looked nothing like the photos online. The reality is old, damp, and uncomfortable.

✅ Again, the staff were kind and tried to help, but this hotel is not worth the stress.
Stay away unless you want a hell experience.

We had a great stay at Alp Paşa hotel. The location was really special and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our room and they were very quick to rectify the problem and we ended up with an even nicer room!

The breakfast is absolutely delicious. There is a huge salad selection, olives, cheese and a rotating warm food menu. We particularly enjoyed omelette station:)
