We had a wonderful stay at Alba Queen Hotel. The hotel is located just a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach, which made every day very convenient and relaxing.

The food was varied and delicious, with plenty of different dishes to choose from every day, so everyone could find something they liked.

The waiters and the entire hotel staff were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Their positive attitude made us feel truly comfortable throughout our stay.

A special thank you goes to the animation team. They work incredibly hard every day to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for both children and adults. Their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism make a huge difference and ensure that guests have a fantastic time.

I just spent a week at this hotel, got back Wednesday 18th, I don’t usually write reviews unless iv something iv to discuss. But iv started writing reviews when I have enjoyed myself, I agree with the majority of reviews. The hotel deffo is catered for Germans. Which is a shame, because I found they are very demanding and very rude. One of the staff members disclosed it was because they tip more. But, overall. Food was great, something for everyone. I ate a lot of food I didn’t even know what it was but turns out it was pretty good, deserts, brilliant! Don’t have a sweet tooth but I did the week I was here. Staff are lovely, always willing to help, catering staff in the restaurant are brilliant. The hotel itself is clean. Pool is lovely. Inside pool is fab. I found the lifeguards go above and beyond for children turning the slides off and on when children was on them. Pool area is a nice atmosphere. Rooms are clean was very surprised how much your rooms was actually like the photos. The snack options for children and adult adults in the daytime is absolutely fantastic. Loved the late food. Love the fact cleaners use Hoovers to do your rooms. I’ve literally only gave it four stars because of the entertainment not being catered for everybody.

I booked this amazing hotel through Loveholidays for a December break. The weather was a perfect mix of sunny, warm days and cool evenings. Staying during the off-peak season was a great choice as the hotel was not overcrowded, yet it was filled with friendly staff and guests.

Dining & Food: The food was exceptional. The main buffet ran like clockwork (Breakfast 07:00–10:30, Lunch 12:30–14:00, and Dinner 19:00–21:00). The variety changed daily, and it was a treat to see fresh food cooked right in front of you. The buffet was constantly restocked, and the waiters were incredibly attentive and friendly.

Additionally, the Food Bar next to the outdoor pool (open 11:00–17:00) was a personal favourite. It offered a full waiter service for both food and drinks. They also featured specific dessert hours for fresh waffles, pancakes, and ice cream, which were delicious.

Accommodation: We booked two rooms (a double and a triple). Both were spacious with large balconies overlooking the mountains. The rooms had a convenient "Clean Room/Do Not Disturb" switch system, and our rooms were cleaned daily, even on the mornings we chose to sleep in!

The beds were comfortable with soft pillows, and the rooms felt bright with plenty of lighting and lamps. A complimentary mini-bar was restocked daily, which was a lovely touch. The only minor issue was a slightly slow drain in one of our bathrooms, but it didn't impact our stay significantly.

Beach & Facilities: The beach is less than a 5-minute scenic walk away. The sand and ocean were very clean, with lifeguards on duty for safety. Free sunbeds are provided, though the beach bar carries additional charges.

The hotel facilities are extensive:

Spa: Available (though on the pricier side).

Pools: A great outdoor and indoor pool with a baby pool and a jacuzzi.

Gym: Equipped with the essentials.

Entertainment: 24-hour bar, an indoor arcade with a pool table, and different evening entertainment every night.

Connectivity: The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the hotel and even reached as far as the beach!

Location & Local Area: A 10-minute walk from the hotel brings you to several markets. Even in the off-peak season, some shops were open with friendly owners selling clothes, jewellery, and bags. You can also book excursions like jeep safaris and quad biking. Loveholidays also provided a guide who arranged a complimentary shuttle to a larger market.

A beautiful highlight for me was the masjid located nearby; hearing the Adhan for the five daily prayers was a wonderful reminder and added a peaceful atmosphere to the holiday.

Overall, a highly recommended hotel for a relaxing and well-catered stay! Definitely coming again!

I stayed here expecting a 5-star experience, but based on my stay, I would rate this as a 3 or 4-star hotel at best. The biggest issue is that the hotel is almost exclusively catered to German speakers. All the shows, entertainment, and music are in German. If you don't speak the language, you will feel left out and won't understand anything.

On the positive side, the food is decent and the waitstaff provides good service. However, if you are looking for fun and entertainment and you aren't German, I wouldn't recommend this place.

We are here now !!! Welcoming ,very clean , lovely room, lovely staff lovely varied food !!! Can't fault it will highly recommend it and we will be back ! The only issue we have is the cleaner on our floor she dos a marvellous job not that we have her in much but pesters for a tip every day telling us she finished unfortunately I've had the flu for a week so have spent the last week in the room and even though we have the light on red she still comes in saying finish finish my partner went to get some water and he said no ty to cleaning so she chased him down the stairs saying finish finish she's been saying it for 2 weeks a little annoying !!! We always tip at the end of our stay as we don't expect preferential service but sorry lady you've missed out leave people alone !!! Ty you to all the staff : reception waiters bar staff animation chefs and cleaners (bar 1) for making our stay very pleasurable!!!
