Wifey and I stayed here for a week at the end of January. We had room 613. A sea view room with a balcony on the 6th floor and the B&B option.

The hotel is a good 3 star or reasonable 4 star depending on regional comparisons.

It's well decorated in the public areas with  polished, cream, hard stone floors and comfy chairs. This leads through to the rear area that accesses the pool and fitness area, a bar and games room/reading area and the restaurant on different lower floors.

Once out of the lifts on the bedroom floors the decor is in the Ottoman style with deep reds and gold in keeping with the area.

The rooms themselves are standard hotel decor with white walls, beige furniture snd some colour splashes from the soft furnishings.
Our room had a large double bed, coffee table with two chairs, a desk area below a wall mounted mirror that held the coffee kit and a fridge below it. There was an old TV on the wall that was tuned to local TV channels with no international channels despite what the printed TV guide suggested.
The bathroom had a good sized low bath/shower that was equipped with a fixed rosette and hand wand. The sink area faced a large wall mounted mirror and was well lit but the room didn't seem to have an extractor.

The staff were very helpful and I cannot criticise them in any way.

The breakfast buffet was a standard affair with a counter serving warm food such as fried eggs and fried veg, sliced "salami" type sausages in bain maries. An island counter held a large range of white cheese in oil or dry, another counter had some bread, a variety of confectionary, olives, pickles and cereal and yoghurt etc. Not too bad at first but very samey after a few mornings
The coffee machine made a good variety of coffees but the juice machines were all premix, still or sparkling. There wasn't any fresh  real fruit juice. They also had a Turkish tea stand.

In the evening the restaurant serves an eat all you can buffet. We made the mistake of eating there one night purely vecause the huge thunder storm prevented us venturing out.
The buffet consisted of some dry and luke warm meats in the bain maries, the cheese island held a range of sliced creamy cakes and gateaux while what was the breakfast cereal island had some veg, salad and breads.
None of it was above holiday camp syandard at best.
Add to that the fact that when we ate out at the nice restaurants in the area we had a main course and a desert each accompanied by Wifey's Gin and Tonic and my coffee and paid between £20 and £25 the slop at the hotel served cost us £71.38. My advice is avoid it.

This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. The location is very good, but the overall experience falls short and there are too many poor details.

Food: The buffet feels more like a roadside self-service restaurant than a 5-star hotel. Variety and quality are lacking. The snack time is also very limited and the options are quite poor.

Service: The staff are friendly and do their best with the resources they have, but it’s not enough to make up for the shortcomings.

Rooms: Very modest and a bit outdated, the same goes for the bathrooms, which are in need of renovation.

Comparison: A few months ago we stayed at another hotel in the same area and we were delighted. This time we made the mistake of changing to this one, thinking from the photos and reviews it would be better, but it was a disappointment.
Overall: Great location and polite staff, but the experience is far from what you would expect from a 5-star hotel.

A modest 3 stars hotel, in my opinion. They check the requirements needed to count as a 4 star establishment, but the individual quality of each aspect is not worthy of 4 stars. Everything is clean, yes, but you can see that the hotel is not in its prime anymore.

+ The room was cleaned daily;
+ Even though arriving a bit earlier than the official check-in time, we were given another matching room.
- the sauna and steam room were empty during the morning, which was nice.

- the level of English the staff speaks (from the reception to the waiting staff is barely enough to get around). At one point, I gave up and used Turkish instead.
- no playground for the kids (even though there is a modest room advertised online), except for the small kids pool, which is just that, a tiny shallow pool.
- drinks are and taste cheap, and you need to pay extra for a decent beer or soda. You get served in thin plastic glasses which barely hold a straw in.
- the food variety is lacking and the taste could be better. Overall, this is the biggest minus I have to give.
- free Internet only in the lobby; you need to pay extra for access wifi everywhere.

All in all, had it been advertised as a 3-star hotel, I would have turned a blind eye to many of its faults, but if you've ever been to a proper 4-star hotel, you know what quality you can expect. I believe we will try other establishments in the future, even if we have to pay extra.

I only gave 4 from 5 starts as the lifts go down to the lobby area, and then down to the restaurant area which is on the same level as the pool. However if you are in a wheelchair or cannot use stairs you have to ask for restaurant staff to let you in and out of the pool. Bit of a problem if there’s no staff about. There is also a second lift that goes only so far down to the sea deck section. Then it’s a load more stairs which laughably you have as well to get to the lift. (Picture 4). Everything apart from the lack of consideration for this with mobility issues was excellent. The 2 ladies at the lobby bar, Ali at the pool bar were great.

I stayed at Adonis Hotel for three nights with a friend, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

First of all, I got food poisoning after dinner from the all-inclusive buffet and was extremely sick. The hotel advertises that a doctor is available on-site, but to my shock, I was told that the doctor only comes on Fridays. When I asked about first aid or basic medicine, the staff said there was nothing available and that I had to go buy everything myself. This is unacceptable if you promote medical support in your listings.

The food quality was overall very poor — not only did I get sick, but the food was tasteless, the variety very limited, and there were hardly any options for vegetarians, vegans, or people who don’t eat red meat.

There was also a constant issue with water. The hotel provided only one 500ml bottle per person per day in the room. For an all-inclusive hotel, this is unacceptable — water should be freely available. During lunch and dinner, they served water of questionable quality that I didn’t feel safe drinking, so we had to constantly buy extra bottles.

Wi-Fi is another problem. It is clearly stated that it’s not free, which I accept, but we were shocked to find out that you pay per device, not per room. Since both of us had multiple devices, the cost added up very quickly.

The facilities are extremely outdated. The rooms, bathrooms, and toilets look like they haven’t been renovated since the 1990s. The flush, shower, and overall cleanliness of the bathroom were very poor.

The only positive was the staff — they were friendly and helpful where they could be. But this cannot outweigh the negative experience. Because of the food poisoning, I had to spend two days in bed and could not enjoy my holiday at all.

Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations and I would not recommend

I had such a lovely stay at Adonis Hotel Antalya! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. When I got sick during my stay, they were so caring, they brought me water and lots of tea. It meant a lot.

The Turkish bath was amazing! The women working there were so professional and sweet, and the whole experience felt relaxing and special. I also went to the hotel’s hair salon, and it was really nice too.

The food was good, the drinks at the bar were great, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. The staff always paid attention to the little details and made us feel welcome and taken care of.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antalya!
