Cheap Holidays to Poland

One of Central Europe’s most picturesque countries, a holiday in Poland is a treat for the senses. Brimming with charm and beauty, cities as Krakow and Warsaw have become renowned for their intricately beautiful buildings, quaint cobbled streets and friendly atmosphere. Venture further afield and the extraordinary natural splendour of the Tatra mountains, Bialowieza forest and the beaches of Hel will leave you spellbound.

Typically, Poland holidays are steeped in culture, adventure and engaging lessons in history. The intriguing beauty of Warsaw's grand architecture makes any visit a memorable experience, while the tumultuous history of the city is captured poignantly in the Neon Museum and the Museum of the History of the Polish Jews. The glorious Krakow, on the other hand, offers a mythical flavour for the discerning traveller to discover. Believed to have been founded on the defeat of a dragon, Krakow is known for its soaring churches, impressive museums and majestic castles. Wawel Castle, the old Jewish Quarters and Rynek Glowny, Europe’s largest market square, are among the major draws of this historic city.

There is more to Poland than its thriving cities though since it also offers some of Europe's most magnificent natural vistas. Savour the beauty of the mountains at Tatra National Park, an excellent holiday destination for those seeking spectacular spots for hiking and adventure, with the township of Zakopane at the foothills a stunning base point. If you love beaches, the Hel Peninsula in the north is a must-visit with its landscape of Pine trees and sandy coastal beaches. There are a number of fishing villages – Hel, Jastarnia and Kuznica – which also serve as beach resorts during the summer season. Holidays to Poland are once-in-a-lifetime experiences that shouldn’t be missed. Visit Poland during the summer season to experience the majesty of a country in full brilliant bloom.
