Las Vegas holidays ooze fun – the younger crowds will love the famous pool parties at The Hard Rock Cafe, while night owls flock to the mega clubs located at the top hotels along the Strip. If you’re looking for the best time to visit the ‘Sin City’, the warm, sunny weather during spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) won’t disappoint you. Home to lavish hotels like Wynn Las Vegas, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Mandarin Oriental, the glamorous Las Vegas Strip is where all the action unfolds!
Holidays to Las Vegas offer a plethora of things to do, whether you’re visiting for a roll of the dice or to see the awe-inspiring sights. For the party lovers, Las Vegas has spectacular shows, high-end cocktail bars and lux lounges to enjoy. If the glitz gets too heady, visit the magnificent red-rock landscapes of the Grand Canyon or further afield to Zion National Park.
Las Vegas entertainment is out of this world and one thing you must make time for when you visit this buzzing city is its iconic shows. From the Cirque du Soleil troop showing off their incredible acrobatics to household names such as Rod Stewart and Celine Dion taking or Broadway musicals including The Jersey Boys, there’s bound to be a hot ticket for you. Book in advance and online to ensure you don't miss out.
You simply cannot visit Las Vegas and miss the casinos! These neon fun palaces are world famous and absolutely out of this world. Taking the form of everything from fairytale castles, the Eiffel Tower and the canals of Venice, they have to be seen to be believed. Whether you want to pull up a stool and play, enjoy a cocktail or dinner or take to the sky on a crazy rollercoaster above the strip, these Sin City icons are where it all happens! Don't miss the Belagio's magical fountain and light display – made famous by the Ocean's Eleven films. If you do gamble, remember to do so responsibly!
See one of the wonders of the world. Vast, magnificent and arguably one of the greatest natural landmarks in the world, the Grand Canyon stretches 277 miles from end to end, and its steep walls descend more than a mile to the canyon’s floor. There are day trips to suit every taste and budget including full-day tours by coach, jeep and fly-by tours in a helicopter. Visitors can explore the canyon by foot, on a cycle tour or even horseback. Rafting adventures are also popular. Enjoy amazing views from the glass Skywalk or for bird's eye views take a heli ride over the Canyon and Hoover Dam, where on return you'll have the opportunity to do a fly-by of the Las Vegas strip.
The Las Vegas strip is home to some of the world's hottest nightclubs, bars and restaurants so book your tickets early and party like A-listers. You can even book onto a night-long night club luxury limousine coach (with an open bar) where you'll stop off and enjoy clubs including Tryst, Surrender and LAX. There are no queues to join or cover charges to pay for those on this tour.
Why travel all the way around the world to see the famous iconic city skylines when they're all in Vegas? From the canals of Venice and The Colosseum to the Statue of Liberty, the Egyptian pyramids and the Eiffel Tower, Las Vegas plays host to incredible replica casinos! They might not be the real thing but sometimes they’re so detailed you can hardly tell the difference!
If you’re looking for even more thrills then the city's rapid rollercoasters are sure to get your heart pumping! Scream and shout at the Stratosphere with adrenaline-fuelled rides including Big Shot and X-Scream or brave the Big Apple Rollercoaster found in the New York-New York casino and you'll ride right over the strip.
If you've expensive taste, schedule in some serious time at the luxury shops of Crystals and Via Bellagio. If you're a fashion lover check out Fashion Show mall at the north end of the Strip, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and The Forum Shops at Caesars. For charming little shops paired with a Vegas-only experience head straight to the Downtown Container Park. It's made from up-cycled shipping containers and is home to lots of hip, artsy boutiques, galleries, restaurants, live music and even a play area for kids.
