Getting Around

If you’re staying in central Naples walking is best but if you’re planning on exploring the region hiring a car or using the public transport is a good idea. Driving in the city isn’t advised, but there are car parks on the outskirts. There are buses, funicular railways, trams and subways available in the city, with rail, bus routes and boats operating around the region. Taxis are also plentiful. Boat tours and ferries run daily to the surrounding coast and islands.

Enjoy the Home of Pizza

Neapolitan's take their pizzas seriously and whenever you're in the city you're never too far from a wood-fire oven. Bite into one of three flagship flavours; pizza napoletana marinara, pizza napoletana marghertia, and pizza napoletana marghertia DOC (made with stringy mozzarella), which can be found from any of the city's delicious street parlours. Frigittoria holds the crown for the best pocket-sized pizza in town, Ettore is renowned for its rolled pizza dough with delicious fillings, and Di Matteo is king of the fried calzone.

Party All Night

The nightlife in Naples never disappoints – from pumping clubs and top quality DJs to cool wine bars and atmospheric tavernas. If you're looking for a lively evening, start the party as soon as the sun sets at Arenile, the closest beach club to the city where you can sip cocktails on the sand. Nabilah is a little more sophisticated with a contemporary interior and designer candles, while Vibes On The Beach encourages those that want to see the night through to the small hours. Let your hair down, dance to your heart’s content and live it up Italia style!
