Taking the town back to its Medieval routes, you can soak up an entire day of entertainment as you watch the fabulous costumed parades that dance their way through the cobbled streets. With the likes of fire-eaters, jugglers and jesters all making the line-up, your little ones are guaranteed a day they’ll remember forever. The festival brings wonderful shopping opportunities too, with charming wooden stalls selling oldy-wordy handicrafts. And of course, even the food is Medieval, so be prepared for mammoth banquets!

Lardos combines history with adventure thanks to its fun donkey rides to the incredible Temple of Athena, which dates back to 300BC. The giant climb (that doesn’t allow cars) will take you right to the top, offering you some of the most breathtaking ocean views in the whole of Greece. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a rare golden Eagle or two! For a fun day out with a difference, this is really worth a go! The incredible views from the top are truly jaw-dropping!

If you like to walk and explore to your flip-flops’ content, Lardos is packed with simple footpaths that lead from the village to the beach.

Travelling by bus or carYou’ll find regular buses during your holiday to Lardos, but if you’d prefer the freedom of getting around by car, you’ll have the option to hire your own vehicles too. The choice is yours. You can hire a car in and around Lardos if you prefer the flexibility to explore as and when you please, without restricting yourself to bus times!
Passports and Visas

You don’t need a visa to travel to Lardos but you do need a valid passport that will remain valid for six months following the duration of your stay.
