Although not as widely known as the likes of Falaraki or Rhodes, holidays to Kolymbia have become increasingly popular over recent years due to the resort’s volume of incredible all inclusive resorts (the watersports on the beach are pretty awesome too!). If you’re looking to book a family holiday in a place that truly has it all, you’d be hard pressed to find a destination with more amenities than Kolymbia. The nearby beach is a favourite amongst families too – with wide stretches of sand and a generous distance of shallow sea that’s perfect for little swimmers.

Boasting perfect weather from June to September, our range of Kolymbia holidays will be perfect for summer escapes during the school holidays. If the kids ever tire from the beach, why not day trip to Lindos Bay or island-hop on a boat trip. We offer a fantastic selection of child-friendly holidays, so keep checking our website for the very latest deals and offers. You won’t believe the incredible value for money we offer!

Visit Rhodes Town

Visit Rhodes Town

Just a half-an-hour journey away from Kolymbia is Rhodes town; which it’s well worth a visit with the family. Wander leisurely as you try and find your way through the tangle of Medieval streets in the Old Town. Watch the kids gasp in awe as they set their eyes on Mussolini’s old pad, the Palace of the Grand Masters, and the cobbled Street of the Knights. While you’re there, you’ll most likely want to do a spot of shopping too; and there’s plenty of places in Rhodes Town that make you want to shop until you drop!

Haggle On Eucalyptus Road

Haggle On Eucalyptus Road

Let your kids see the fun side of shopping as you haggle your way through this 2-kilometre stretch of shopping heaven. Brimming with local craft places, jewellery stores and mini-markets for stocking up on picnic treats, you can really make a day of it on Eucalyptus Road. The shopkeepers here speak very good English and they welcome a bit of good-natured haggling. Whatever bargains you grab (or not), one thing’s for certain – this will be the most fun shopping trip you’ve had in a while!

Go To A Rhodes Rock Gig!

Go To A Rhodes Rock Gig!

If you’re a musical family, then a visit to Rhodes Rocks is a must-do! Back in the 1960s, Rhodes was the place to be for musicians (Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour still owns a pad in Rhodes!). Today, the place enjoys an annual splashing of rock with a line-up of tribute bands performing classics from the likes of Queen, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones. There are three big shows to watch, as well as VIP gigs going on all around town. This annual treat is something not to be missed, so make sure you check out all the ticket information and dates before you book your holiday.

Eat Your Way Around Kolymbia

Eat Your Way Around Kolymbia

The amazing all inclusive hotels in Kolymbia have really got it covered when it comes to food, but it’s still worth venturing out to try some of the amazing restaurants on your doorstep. Eucalyptus Road hosts a fabulous line up of calamari and seafood restaurants, or you can take a stroll through the back streets where you’ll find many cost-effective traditional tavernas serving mixed grills and kebabs. If you’re a family of foodies, you’re sure to find plenty to please the little ones and the big ones in Kolymbia!
