Cheap Holidays to Kardamena

Located on the south east coast of the lively Kos in Greece, Kardamena is a small yet lively resort attracting hundreds of tourists every year. Beautiful natural surroundings, warm and hospitable people and a buzzing nightlife are some of the island's highlights. Once a small fishing village, Kardamena holidays have significantly grown into a major tourist hub best-known for its beautiful beaches and ancient monuments, some of which go back to the times of the Greeks.

Medieval castles and fortresses grace the island, while at the heart of the old town you'll find the tree of the Hippocrates, where the physician traditionally taught medicine. Aside from a lesson in history, the island holds rich rewards for beach lovers. Located nearby to Kos Town is the main Kardamena beach, boasting 3km of soft sands, a huge choice of watersports and nearby amenities for visitors - if you prefer to sunbathe in peace, neighbouring Banana Beach is more secluded with fantastic sand dunes backing the beach.

In the evening, indulge in traditional Mediterranean cuisine at Fat Olive, Ariadni Restaurant, The Garden and other eateries located in the harbour, before heading out to explore the island's rich nightlife.
