Panama City Beach holidays serve up a stretch of sugar-white sandy beach, nestled between the warm Gulf of Mexico and the Florida West Bay. A popular family holiday destination for tourists from the Southern United States and Europe, you and the kids can make plenty of English-speaking friends here. Plan a spring break to Panama City Beach to enjoy mild temperatures that won’t exhaust the little ones.

Holidays to Panama City Beach will put you in a peaceful setting where there are plenty of things to do for the kids while you sit back and relax. Secure a sun lounger by the swimming pool in one of our family-friendly resorts or take the kids out to explore around the city centre.

A walk along the beach will take you past some fun attractions like the Goofy Golf, the Hidden Lagoon Super Race Track and plenty of child-friendly restaurants to fill those hungry stomachs. Pineapple Willy's, Harpoon Harry's and Finns Island Style Grub all serve accessible food that the children will love, and if you’re getting a bit homesick, Eat My Pasty serves traditional British grub in a familiar décor.

Venturing away from the beach can take you to the Shipwreck Island Waterpark – a fun family attraction with waterslides, a lazy river, rapids and a wave pool. Little animal-lovers will love the ZooWorld Zoological and Botanical Conservatory, where you can meet – and even feed – animals such as giraffes and alligators! If you have forgotten to pack anything for your holidays to Panama – such as a swimsuit, sun screen or beach toys – you’re never too far from a store. Just turn into any of the side streets north of the Front Street Road, and you will find what you are looking for.

    Shipwreck Island Waterpark

If you want to take the kids somewhere truly unforgettable, the Shipwreck Island Waterpark is a firm family favourite. The elaborate activity pools for small children include easy slides in the shape of animals as well as a fort, an accessible rope climb and a “silly submarine”. Older children can enjoy the more advanced slides such as the White Knuckle River, the Pirate’s Plunge and the Tree Top Drop – all of which are guaranteed to leave them keen to go again!

    Head To ZooWorld

ZooWorld is a zoo unlike any other. Contributing to the conservation of various endangered species, it also offers visitors the chance to pet a sloth, cuddle a lemur and even hold an alligator! Alternatively, kids can help the zookeepers feed the animals – all for very reasonable prices. At ZooWorld in Panama City Beach, children under 2 years of age receive free entry.

    Hidden Lagoon Super Race Track

    Hidden Lagoon Super Race Track

If you’re on holiday in Panama City Beach with older children, you’re sure to win the Best Parents Award by taking them go-karting at the Hidden Lagoon. The race track is almost a mile long, and anyone over 92 centimetres tall can enjoy it – if not as a driver, then as a passenger. The Hidden Lagoon also features two crazy golf courses, one is child-friendly, the other more challenging. Those who score a hole-in-one on the 18th hole win $50.00 in cash!

    Goofy Golf

    Goofy Golf

Goofy Golf is a family-owned business that has been around since 1959 – needless to say, it is much-loved by the community and tourists visiting Panama City Beach. There are two 18-hole miniature golf courses on site, both of which are surrounded by towering statues of everything ranging from sphinxes and dinosaurs to mushrooms and monkeys, some of which can be climbed and entered. The crazy golf course has many return visitors, which is a true testament to its popularity.
