It’s easy to reach the beach from anywhere in the city, with streets providing access to the sands, by crossing over dunes, at various points along the way. You’ll also find some good waves at Picnic Tables, south of Cocoa Beach, or drive down to the popular Sebastian Inlet, about an hour away.
