Getting Around

The public transport network and taxi service in the Antalya region means that hiring a car isn’t necessary to explore the area. If you would prefer to have the independence to get around on your own, car hire is easy to arrange. Dolmus buses are convenient and cheap and there is also a local bus service and a tramway that connects the city centre with Konyaalti Beach.

Luxurious Lara Beach

Lara Beach is a golden-sand stretch with gentle warm waves backed by a pretty promenade. The shallow water here is great for kids to paddle and swim in while you sit and relax under the sun. The hotels have acquired most of the sands and each offer plenty of amenities – there are umbrellas, loungers and some stylish beach bars to try too.

Thrill seekers can embark on an off road safari exploring Turkey's rural villages and jaw dropping hilltops in a 4x4. Or why not travel over the Olympos-Beydağlari National Park on Tahtali Aerial Cableway, the second longest in the world?
