Getting Around
It’s easy to get around on foot but car hire is a great way of exploring independently. Taxis are also plentiful, cheap and metered. The local bus service is extensive, with louages (shared minibuses) taking you further if you like. There is also a family friendly land train, known as the Noddy Train, which is great fun!
Port El Kantaoui Beach
Inject some thrills and spills into your lazy days on the beach and race around the coastline on the watersports available. If you want to float along the sea at a more leisurely pace, you could opt for a pedalo ride instead - just don’t forget your sun hat!
Drop Anchor and Scuba!
Head out on a boat trip from the PEK marina and drop anchor a little way from the shore, where you can snorkel and scuba to your heart’s content. The reefs and marine life here are abundantly beautiful, so it’d be a shame not to experience them. If you’d prefer to stay dry, glass bottom boats allow you to see the beauty from deck.
Grab Souvenirs In Sousse
The marina is a central part of this stunning resort and has a purpose-built medina where you can haggle as you would in a medieval souk. Pick up some souvenirs, or grab a table at one of the local restaurants. As evening draws near, head for the Maison Des Jardins, where you can take your pick from a range of bars. For an authentic shopping experience, head to the Old Town of nearby Sousse, bustling with souvenir shops and alleys filled with metal and woodworkers.
