The story behind Flegra’s locationThe area of Kasandra was named after Kassandros- king of Macedonia. Sithonia was named after Sithonas- son of the god of the Sea- Poseidon. Established organized societies flourished in central Halkidiki around 4th century B.C.- among which the city of Olynthus was the most important.
