Located 1.5 miles to Disney and situated on 200 beautifully landscaped acres, the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort is a vacation paradise. Hawks Landing Championship Golf Course is footsteps from the lobby along with a full service spa, fitness center and daily poolside activities.
In an effort to continually provide a World Class Experience to Guests, the $11 million Suite renovation has been completed and the Hotel's journey of improvement will continue beginning this June. The next $40 million phase of the project will encompass the falls pool and surrounding areas, the re-concept of the Italian restaurant, re-design and expansion of Starbucks and the exterior building façade refurbishment. The large pool with waterslide, surrounding area, and the Pool View room category is scheduled to be closed from early-August to end of November. Upon the falls pool reopening, the poolside bar and slide tower projects will continue through January. During this project the west terrace and pool area will be available for hotel guests to enjoy. This is a lagoon style pool in a tropical setting. The Hotel will provide food and beverage service from 11am - dusk along with kids activities. Golf, Spa, volleyball, basketball and tennis will all remain open. Starbucks re-design will take place from mid-June to mid-August. During this period the Hotel will have an alternate location and will provide full-service Starbucks beverage service. Re-Concept of the Italian Restaurant. The restaurant will be closed from mid-August to mid-November. During the closure of Tuscany's, the Hotel will continue to provide several restaurant options to enjoy including: Hawk's Landing Steakhouse, Mikados, Solaris, High Velocity, the Food Court and in room dining along with poolside dining. Façade refurbishment will begin in mid-June. The exterior will be painted and at times balconies of rooms impacted will not have guest access. The 500 rooms in the North Tower will not be impacted by this project as they were completed in 2011. All work will take place from 9am to 5pm.
