By car - Zadar is easy to reach from several directions. State Highway A1 (Zagreb – Split) is the fastest and most comfortable way to drive to Zadar. Just take the Maslenica or Posedarje exit, and then take the state road to Zadar. If you are driving from Rijeka, take the Adriatic Highway - state road D-8.
By car-ferry - Ancona - Zadar – if you are travelling from Italy the best way is by car-ferry (Ancona- Zadar). It takes about 8 hours (usually the ferry leaves at 22:00, and arrives at 06:00). This is the easiest and the most stress-free way to come to Zadar.
By bus - Zadar is the centre of North Dalmatia and well connected to all Croatian cities and European metropolises.
