Great Things to Do

Playa Paraiso is the easiest place to do nothing and relax, but if you’re looking for a little more action then there’s plenty to choose from.

Check out the Lido

The beach at Playa Paraiso is beautiful, yet pretty tiny, so most sun seekers head for the saltwater lido which has a waterfall, sun loungers and restaurants to keep everyone entertained. If you’d rather hang out on a bigger beach and try your hand at some water sports then head to one of the nearby beaches such as Costa Adeje.

Day Trips

As there is not much to do in this sleepy resort you may want to head elsewhere for a few day trips. Playas de las Americas is just down the road and has a variety of water sports available during the daytime and endless parties during the evening. A visit to Mount Tiede is a great way to soak up some of Tenerife’s countryside.

Plunge Underwater

The rocky coastline of Playa Paraiso is ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. There are a few places to rent the right equipment and a scuba diving school to keep you safe under the water. Look out for the magnificent eagle rays as they are rather impressive.

Make a Splash

Playa Paraiso is conveniently located near to the best waterparks on the island, Aqualand and Siam Park. Both waterparks provide the ideal day out for the whole family, especially the kids. So if you’re looking for a whole day full of fun activities and exciting rides then these two parks are well worth a visit.

Getting Around

Tenerife is easy to navigate with a range of transport readily available. The public buses are a cheap way for visitors to explore the island, most holiday makers tend to use taxis and hire cars as it offers that extra flexibility during your stay. The islands are full of cycling and hiking trails for the more adventurous and there are daily boat services hopping between each island.

By Bus

There are comfortable, air conditioned buses which leave from most of the main resorts regularly and stop at the island’s most famous attractions. The smaller, local buses are slightly less reliable.

By Car

Hiring a car is cheap, easy and highly recommended. The island’s main roads are easy to navigate and well looked after; the smaller roads can be somewhat of a challenge. Driving is on the left.
