Relax on the Sandy Beach
The long sandy beach runs alongside shallow, warm waters making it the ideal destination for families with young children. The promenade running along the sand provides ideal lunch and dinner spots and the beach is full of activities, such as volleyball, windsurfing and pedalos. There are also plenty of sunbeds to relax on.
Enjoy the Peaceful Nightlife
Unlike its neighbour, Puerto del Carmen, this sleepy resort will not keep you awake at night. There are several relaxing restaurants that often play soothing live music to keep their guests entertained. A few bars are dotted along the seafront but it’s not the place to party until the early hours of the morning.
Wander along the Seafront
A walk along the promenade to Matagorda which has a stunning beach with great surf and several shops to keep you entertained. From here you can rent a bicycle and explore the surrounding countryside or simply relax in one of its many welcoming bars. Or head in the other direction to Puerto del Carmen and enjoy the snorkelling.
Party in Puerto del Carmen
After a short walk along the promenade you’ll find yourself in the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen. So if you’ve opted to stay away from the partying to get some peace and quiet you can still find a decent, late night out within walking distance of your hotel. Puerto del Carmen also has a wider selection of restaurants.
