Getting Around
There are plenty of transport facilities available around Gran Canaria. If you plan to do a lot of travelling, hiring a car is best. There are plenty of cycling and hiking trails for active holidaymakers to enjoy at their own pace. The resort itself is easily explored on foot.
Amadores' Blue Flag Beach
Amadores’ main attraction has to be its stunning Blue Flag beach. The sand in this bay has been shipped all the way from the Caribbean so you can imagine just how beautiful it is. The sparkling blue water is clean and with good shelter from the headlands, it's the perfect place to paddle and swim.
Explore Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria has so many hidden wonders to discover and Amadores is the perfect base to set sail from. Day trips head off to the capital, Las Palmas, which has an array of shops, museums and a stunning cathedral to see. The most popular trip though is to Puerto de Mogan, which is known as the Venice of the Canaries.
